After reading around a bit there seems to be some varying opinions. See the quote: *These are the ones I've been looking for

So far I've bought four boxes of these from ***, 2 boxes per order on two different orders. These are the ones to get. Don't get the SLBs from other suppliers. They don't work as good as these do. These have the wire that runs the length of the carto. The SLBs only heat at the tip of the wire. When that area drys out - and it dries out quickly - they start to burn. It's a really poor design.*

I have yet to see a burn and believe me we check em. I have the exact opposite experience, go figure huh.

Hey Zelda please forgive any errors in this post I'm on my phone heading back home. You can up the voltage intake on an atomizer but when you reduce is when the trouble starts. Picture the atom like a beaver dam that water purs through and the electricity like water. Once wild rapids come the dam will fall apart a bit (widen) once the gap is made it stays. From the varying water pressure the dam will be forever unbalanced. Even from using 6 v to five then back to six will show a significant difference.

Hey Isaac do you know anything about aerated e-liquid where it is applied by spray verses a solid drip for drippers. Just suppose to be to be easier to refill without the mess when driving or whatever. Just curious if anyone does this method or not. Suppose to be a bottle that can deliver an aerated mixture like a nasal spray thingy.

Yes sir! Johnson Creek Smoke Juice attempted a similar trend about a year ago. They were more ridiculed than anything. Personally, I didn't try this method out yet, but was heavily looking into it for the Liquid line thats currently in the works.

Has anyone else tried any spray variation for dripping?

Today at work i seen someone use a Visine dropper and thought. The bottle was 15ml and was small and slender. Wonder if they have patented the design..

It metered too much juice I believe. It was in the modder's section someone actually modified it to dispense 2 drops.

Thanks that is good to know. I learn something new all the time.
I'm pretty pleased with the durability of these cartomizers. I vape pretty heavily so for them to last as long as they did for me is pretty amazing. Plus no burning even at 5v.
I did get some charred juice bits when I openedit up but I do believe it's from using a vg/pg mx. Next one i'm going to stick with all pg just for comparison.

I wish I'd found this thread sooner, I have only been vaping for a week now and just gummed up 2 cartomizers and had to toss them. I tried cleaning them but didn't know about the standard 510 mouthpieces being glued on and ruined the one I tried to clean.

Hey Zelda becareful out there with straight Pg! Even Chinese standard liquids have some vg in them. The reason why I say the warning is because I always been huge in standard Chinese liquids and I ordered American made straight Pg liquid about a month ago and guess what! Allergic reactions! Harsh raspy voice and rough swallowing. Luckily I had picked up VG at the local Michael's, cut it by 30% and voila vaping heaven.
Most of the time you typically find a few charred pieces in your atty and your right it is the Vg and/or flavoring that causes that. Its all the sugar that you see .

Hey Mitch don't be disheartened by messing up that plastic piece. If you would like a more dependable piece, pick up a pack of 901 cartridges. You would need the ones hat look like this Electronic cigarette DSE 901 905 Menthol Low Cartridge - cellphoneslord.com Not necessarily the color but notice how the2 pieces are different colors. The black piece is removable, thus making the mouth piece fully compatible. Also the Slb cartomizers that we carry are meant to be refilled, the do not have glue holding the tops in.

Indeed you have! We have poured extra time into developing a 510 cartomizer in the hopes of being Perfect for 3.7-4.2V. We also are having them produced in Hard and Soft tip alike.

Sorry for jumping in here. SLB 510 cartos are 3.0 ohm and really shine at 5V IMO. I feel like they were almost made for 5V vs. 3.7V. I tried them at 6V as well but that was a bit too much.

+1 I agree 4.67V under fire num, num. Seems I see this 4.5-4.6 more and more from folks with vary volts 6V way too hot, although I do like 'em at 3.7V.
