So I have tried to use some cartos recently. I even bought a tank to go with the pre- punched ones. I watched all the YouTube videos and read all the directions....Truly do not know why anyone would use these! Not only did I get burnt taste(after priming the hell out of it)...it did not suck up any fluid from the tank. So either I am completely clueless or they are just not for me.
Any thoughts....and go...

Sorry you had a bad experience. I vape a tank cracker juice and glass carto tanks were all I used until the Protank came out. What is the pg/vg level of the juice you are using and how many holes are in the carto? Also, what brand of carto?

I've been using them solely, as have many of us here. There are things you have to understand about them but it's not that hard really, sorry you've been having troubles. There is a subforum here that has tips on how to use/prep them.

Good to have the option to use. I personally won't touch a clearo or stand alone atty.

I have been using the nautilus mini on a istick 20w and have been happy with this set up. My wife bought me a k100 mod that came with two unpunched cartos and I order a tank and a pack of 5 pre-punched ones. I thought that maybe the batteries on the k100 were not strong enough so I tried to use them on the istick....still no luck. I read the posts on the forums and like I said watched the videos...still can not get the hang of them. I won't throw them away or anything...and I will try again. So I thought I would put this out here to see if I was the only one to find them unsatisfactory

Depending on your vg level, you may need more (or larger) holes. Different brands have different densities of filler. No-Name cartos are often garbage. That's why I asked the questions that I did.

When I first used carto tanks I had the same problem. In desperation, I used a homemade carto punch (hammer and small nail) and made the 2 holes larger. That solved the problem. Needless to say, I bought a proper carto punch on my next order. I like smok 2 ohm single coil cartos with 2 pre-punched holes, which I enlarge just a bit.
