:headbang: Glad to hear of your success!

I don't proclaim my methods to be the best or the only way to do it, but they have worked great for me. The point is to find what works best for you. Some vapors prefer the condom fill method and some prefer dripping from the top. I prefer my methods in my blog because you are able to begin vaping right away; no need to let the tank "settle".

If you are comfortable with a particular method but are still having issues, consider altering your vaping technique. Slow down, take slow longer pulls.

There are minor differences in carto brands. Smoktech's have a less dense filler, so they may flood more easily. Boge's have a denser filler, so they may wick slower and may lead to dry hits or a burning taste. If having issues with a particular carto, switch brands.

Oh yeah. I know a lot of this stuff is trial and error, and all of it has some element of personal preference.

I am on the lookout for some of the Ikenvape cartos, but apparently is everyone else on the planet as they don't seem to be available anywhere I have found.

I have been looking for other cartos to try with this XL tank that I have, but the XL versions seem to be a bit more difficult to find pre-drilled than the standard versions.

Only place to find Ikenvape cartos is from that online vendor. They are in my opinion worth the wait; be sure to be placed on their "notify me" email alert, and be ready to pull the trigger when they do. They don't stay in stock long.

I have a huge list of online vendors that sell the XL length pre-punched cartos in my blog:

Not to appear a nationalist, but we are all familiar with not only the general quality of stuff made from China, but also the quality of control factor from them. Although Ikenvape cartos are manufactured by a Chinese manufacturer, they are made from the strict standards that Isaac from Ikenvape demands.

Stronger casing, better filler material, higher quality atomizers. This results in better flavor and a longer lasting cartomizer. And their price is competitive with other cartomizers. Out of some 50 IKV cartos that I've used, I've only had one that was bad from the start. The ohms are always within 0.1 resistance of what they are supposed to be.

Imagine if cartomizers were made by a U.S. manufacturer; that is how an Ikenvape cartomizer is.

If you are currently happy with your Boges, stick with them. That just leaves more Ikenvapes available for me. :p

I agree wholeheartedly with Bad's entire post. Have never tried the Ikenvapes but I hear many loyal and happy users. Other brands right now seem to be hit and miss and that means QC is still an issue IMHO.

not to sound stupid here but now I am confused. I have read that you fill the tank 1/2 way full and you let it sit for about 3-5 mins so that it can prime on its own... Or is that just on the DCTanks?
As I have stated previously, there are several ways to go about setting a cartotank up. I present my method in my blog only because it works great for me. With my method of setup there is no need to have the tank set, nor a need to blow excess e-liquid out of the center air hole. It's fast and easy. It takes me less than 5 minutes to set up a cartotank, and it's ready to go from the start.

If whatever method that you are using works for you, there's no need to change.

FYI, DCT tanks and cartotanks are one and the same. You can use single coil cartos in a dual coil tank (DCT). DCT is a catch-all term like Band Aids for adhesive bandage and Q-Tips for cotton tip applicator.

Great! Let me see how to fetch one then. Like I said before, I'd sure want to have a try @ them given all the popularity & recos.

I follow Bad's method to the tooth - and it works damn good with me. And yes, just 5-mins and I'm all set with some awesome vape experience.
