Since I pretty much keep my dse901 in my hand at all times it seems like I am completely burning through cartridges. This is starting to get a little on the expensive side. I have been looking for cheaper alternatives. I have been using a drip tip that I purchased from vaporkings. I really like it but it seems like I use more drops and I am worried it will spill out. I have heard of people using some type of straw mod but it sounds a little complicated to me as I am a only on my third week of vaping. I watched a video of a gentlemen using a pyramid tea bag for a cart YouTube - Lipton Pyramid Tea Bag Cartridge Filler for E-cig DSE 901 I was wondering if this was a good route to take. I am worried about the difference in the taste. About how long does it last and is there any potential danger if the tea bag is melted by the atty. If there are any other great cartridge alternatives that a noob like myself can easily grasp that would be greatly appreciated also.

Peace.Love.Vape

Can't speak with experience on a 901, but the PTB mod works 2x better than the factory fill on my eGo. The teabag material hasn't melted on mine and they look like they go together the same way after looking at the video you linked to. No difference in flavor either as the teabag just holds the juice in the cart and wicks to the atty bridge better. the only fiddly part is trimming the fit so that the filler just touches the atty bridge. If it's too long the filler crushes and doesn't wick as well. Too short and it won't wick. It only took me a little trial and error to make it work. To clean, you just rinse them out in water. I made up four and haven't needed to replace any yet.

Worst case if it doesn't work for you is a waste of a little time and juice and a box of tea you may or may not like :)
