As I understand it all the cheaper models, Red Dragon, E-Cig and E-Puffer all use the same style cartridge. Is this correct? I have not yet purchased my first e-cig and am looking at all the options and was wondering if it is feasible to mix and match e-cig and cartridge. Thanks.

I don't know if "cheaper" is how I'd describe those disposable atomizer e-cigs since you pay a premium for the convenience factor and the prices of the e-cigs themselves are about the same as say a DSE 901. With that said, yes the loongsmoker v9 and its clones all should be able to share cartridges and batteries. With that said, e-cig and e-puffer offer various models so to clarify, I'm assuming you are speaking about the EAZE Magnum and the new mini-ecig.

i'm so confused about compatability as well :( (i just ordered a classic penstyle from epuffer).

i've seen threads that kind of touch on the subject for certain brands, i wish there was a comprehensive sticky on what goes w/ what, especially since some vendors dont show the model number (like epuffer).

Elle--what penstyle are you trying to match as most are compatable (DES801/Rn4072) BUT some look like them and are not compatable at all--so what are you trying to match--Sun:)

sun you are a doll :) it seems like there's quite a few members who can't be bothered with the silly questions of new people.

this is the penstyle i've ordered: http://www.epuffer.com/eshop/index.php?target=products&product_id=1

i'm mostly interested in if the parts offered on puresmoker will be compatible (the prices are awesome), atomizers, carts, batteries, etc...

thanks for your help lu :)

if what i'm asking has been previously covered- anyone who has the time and "enthusiasm", feel free to post the link- how embarassing for me.

i do however know how to use the search button and i haven't found anything on the subject.

"New Members' Forum New to E-smoking with plenty of questions? I'll bet! Please feel free to ask them in this forum..." yeah, if you can get anyone to answer...

Elle--that sure looks like the RN4072 that Steve sells at Puresmoker but there is one that looks like it But its threading is different. Let me check for you--and Lu, the question is legitimate and not repetitious--Sun

I didn't say her particular question was repetitious, did I? Without looking, I don't even know if this has been asked before.

I didn't even imply that her question was silly....merely that if you do answer silly questions about another 1000 times, you just might not have as much enthusiasm as you do now (let's see, that will be at about 1500 posts?).

And that was actually in response to her remark...because after a thousand or two times of answering the same questions over and over, yes, some people can't be bothered.

Elle--I touched base with Dusty over at www.e-cigreview.com and he was kind enough to reply by stating that the battery connection is the same but the cartridges are shorter. So there is an issue there with compatablity. If the battery connection is the same you could use Steve's atomizer and cartridges at PureSmoker. I hope this helps and as we can see this was a very valid question--Sun:)

The ePuffer elite is a KR-108. Yes the atomizers and batts can be interchanged with the RN-4072 from Puresmoker, but the Puresmoker cartridges will not be a good fit to the ePuffer atomizer. They'll work, mind you, but Janty cartridges would be a better fit. But if you go with Puresmoker, use LEAFORD as a coupon code for 5% off. ;)
