I'm actually only new to posting - not so new to reading.
I have read the "Cart material getting sucked into atty?!" thread about the cartridge material burning in the dse801. This is something I've struggled with too - I find myself buying blank carts because the material seems to fray over time, and this worsens the problem.
I wanted to reignite the question, no pun intended, and ask if anyone has had any luck with using a different sort of material? I've heard stories about using certain kinds of fabric in the carts???
Likewise, given the high rise of the dse801 atty design, what about simply not pushing the cart all the way down into the atty? Does this technique work for folks?
