Which method do you guys prefer?

Do you vape a cart dry, refill, vape dry, refill, etc...until the cart is ready for disposal and then start a new one?

or

Do you vape a cart dry, store it for refilling later and start a new one immediately? If you use this method, do you rinse it before storing? And what's the longest you've stored an empty before refilling?

Just wondering what you all consider to be most logical...

I've still havent figured it out. I keep reading other peoples ideas and modifying what I'm doing. So far what I've done is got a fairly large amount of carts, around a 100. I use a cart till I get a wiff of burnt. I try to catch it right away. First time I just refill it, every second time I rinse it out first.

I generally fill 6 carts at a time. I only put in 5 drops at a time, cap it with a condom. Couple hours later or so I put in 5 more. For carts I'm retopping I put in 15-17 drops. For carts I rinsed I use 20 drops. Then I set them aside and let them sit a couple days.

Thanks all...

I'm asking because I tend vape, refill, vape, refill....While it's not by any means a hassle, I'm thinking it might be more time efficient if I just vape to empty once, store, and then do a mass rinse/refill.

I think part of the prob is that, I lose track of the carts (I have about 70 opened...I'm not kidding). So if it starts to lose flavor I think to myself, "Hmmm, I thought this was new, let me pop off the caps and check the juice level". Once the caps are off and I realize I've killed it I say, "Well, the cap is already off, I'll just refill it".

I really need to just throw them in a container and start vaping a new one...I have no idea why I have this obsession with checking/refilling when I have SO many boxes of new cartz...maybe because I STILL don't trust my ability to know when a cart is dry???? IDK...

We vape them till the flavor drops off, then throw them on the left side of my organizer. When there's no room on the left side, I refill everything that's over there. So far, I've not tossed a carto. I have a few that I use with thicker colored juices that are showing some browning, but I'm pretty sure it's dried up juice. I'm going to try PGA to clean them and see if I can keep on going.

I've got a week's worths of carts in rotation and then over the weekend I refill them for the week. I am sure there must be some advantages to refilling 5 of a kind as opposed to 14 different ones. I refill with my own mix of VG, PG juice and added flavors. I am waiting for my empty 5ml bottles so I can mix in greater quantities than one refill.

I have also wondered if there is any harm in storing empty capped carts for a month or two.

i used to vape dry, and store until i had 3 or 4 to refill, then refill via the movie that is up there as a sticky.

but lately, it's just not keeping taste for long, or tasting right -- i probably ought to rinse but i'm STILL afraid i'm going to ruin the cart by rinsing it out... idk why, lol.

so NOW i'm going to try to either just top off when flavor JUST starts to wan... or go back to the syringe method that seems to make a cart refill last longer/keep flavor.

i have enough carts i suppose i can 'waste' one by trying a rinse/refill, at least... i've yet to perfect one method to stick with, and not having 'one method' makes me feel squirrelly and anxious, heh.

heres how i do it... (may be long, may not.... not sure yet?)

i keep all new carts in a tupperware marked NEW.
i keep all used carts in a tupperware marked USED and EMPTY.
i also have a tupperware for all USED and FILLED.
i also have a tupperware for all CLEAN and DRY.
and one for DRYING CARTS.

i vape a new one till its done, and possibly top it off with the same flavor a time or two.....

other than that, i vape em dry... and toss in the used and empty bin....

from the used and empty bin, i rinse them.. and put them in the drying carts bin for a day or two...

then, the dryed carts get put in the clean and dry bin...

from there, they get refilled.....

and put into the used and filled bin......

every time i refill a cart... i put a slash in the paper (right where the label overlaps itself) with a sharp pocket knife to indicate the number of refills... ie: one slash= one refill, two slashes= two refills....etc....)

if a cart has 5 or 6 slashes..... it gets tossed...

all others stay in rotation till that point in time......

i try to use carts up (with refills) to their max, before digging into the new cart stash....

(i also have bins for the .... plugs, condoms, mouth pieces, and rubber seals........ i may or may not have an ocd problem??!!)

i had an empty cola cart that i did the hot water rinse-through and blew the water out, dried any excess water off the batt end. made sure that no more water blew out, then refilled with, well.. blueberry. 'cause it's that or menthol that i have in juice right now. managed in 20 drops, actually, which was shocking. didn't do the spindown like i usually do, because lately things don't taste right. i just let it sit a bit and tapped it down. it's an hour later and i'm vaping it. it tastes funny only because it's blueberry over cola, but i actually didn't kill the cart, yay. :)

to the above -- i like the slash idea and i ought to use it. i just put refilled carts into another box and refill/use them until they constantly have that odd.. sweet/rot/burnt taste and nothing takes care of it. that's only happened to 4 carts so far, and then i toss them. i have a box for fresh carts/batts, and then the box kimmy gave me for juice/carts needing refilled. i keep my extra condoms/buttplugs in that same box.

I drip.

To me its the only way to get the full hit I need as I am still fairly new to vaping.

I have a bunch of 510's (the original and the disposables which aren't bad at all) and a Silver bullet and I still really like the SB in the am at 6 Volts (2 CR 123 batteries, maybe see Madvapes) and after dinner when the nicotine jones is the strongest.

I pull the cartridge off, then drip 2-4 drops directly in the atomizer and then top off the cartridge until it looks like a "slushy" and then vape away. If I get anything remotely close to a burnt mashmellowy taste, I know I pushed it too hard and it's time to redrip. Works for me.

I went out for drinks and dinner last night with friends (on the patio in SoCal) with a freshly charged titanium JOYE 510 in my pocket and some disposables as well for my friends who I knew would loike em.

I also had a 15 ML bottle of 24 Mg Marl with me which I simply dripped several times (3-4 drops) on the atty when needed. I had a great evening plus am sure I converted a few friends to at least the trial stage having given away my disposables... It felt good to do that - Soul WOOT !

Most people here are using cartomizers. Two piece systems as opposed to your three piece system. Most of us here either like the cartomizers because they became tired of dipping like you do or newbies like me that thought cartomizers would be simpler to get used to vaping.

Your story shows one place where the vaporking (Kr8) I think is better. If it was me one cart would have lasted me all night, though a spare would have been handy. And to let other people try it I could give them their own cart. Each cart is less then $2, proable less then your drinks last night. Cheap ....... I am though I would have soaked the end in alcohol when I got home and reused it

This may be a tacky thing to do, but I've been marking my refills with a sharpie. One tiny "x" for each time I've refilled it. I figure eventually I'll get an idea of how many times I've reused a cart before it burns out totally.

lmao...not at you, but with you.;) You sound like me. Definitely some OCD going on here. I use large storage baggies instead of Tupperware and then after filling I line them up on a little table I have, for them to dry for 24 hrs. Hadn't thought about using a slash mark with a knife. I hash mark them with a fine point Sharpie. Once I get to five then in the trash they go. Sometimes sooner if I vaped too long on one and it's fried.

I have a bag for the condoms and .... plugs, empty and dry cartos, refilled and ready to use cartos, and the brand new cartos. Typically I will vape a new carto, refill it once and then flush and dry it before using again. I live pretty close to you in Cocoa...maybe it's something in our water;)
