Casaa Board Member Official Resignation

I wanted to let folks know I have resigned from the CASAA board. I have not been able to put in the time and work to it and have not been much of a contribution as of late, and I am not quite in agreement with it's current direction.

Good luck to CASAA and the cause, but life has insisted that I must bow out and put the job up to someone more capable and in agreement with CASAA efforts.

Speaking for CASAA, I can certainly understanding the drain on your personal time and respect your reasons (whatever they may be) to leave the board. Considering we have a private forum, shared email and board email list, your reasons for publicly resigning here (on ECF) are admittedly, confusing.

As an ECF mod, I have the right to edit or reject posts to the CASAA sub-forum. Generally, that power is reserved for countering trolls, flames and keeping conversation on-topic. This doesn't sound like any of that so I’m leaving this thread up. If you truly have issues with the organization's direction, please air them to the mailing list. You can always PM me and you have CASAA's phone number, my cell and email.

CASAA has grown exponentially over the past few months and while our goals and direction may not always be in alignment with every user (or board member) and the semantics may be hazy at times, our primary goal is clear - we are working in the BEST INTEREST for ALL e-cig users toward keeping e-cigarettes LEGAL in every villa, hamlet, city, county, parish, borough and state.

If you honestly feel that the elected board isn’t representing a viewpoint fairly, why quit? You’ll never be in a better position to be heard.

IMHO – my best friends (and those who I respect most) are the ones who disagreed with me and won me over with a persuasive viewpoint.
