Actually, CASAA has over 3,500 members so far. Many joined during the CFV for becoming an organization and didn't fill out full profiles. Coming next week, members will be able to update those profiles and interact with CASAA in many new ways!
Please Join CASAA Now and encourage your friends to do so. It's completely free and the more members we have, the greater our representation of the vaping public is on local, municipal, state and federal issues. If you ever wanted your voice to matter, become a part of the solution.

I ask that all reps actually subscribe to the whole Call to Action forum vs just threads.
To subscribe to a forum, open the forum (but not an individual thread). Near the bottom of the page, right below the "Forum Permissions" area and right above the Donate link, there is a horizontal bar. There you'll find the link to subscribe to the forum.
Similarily, once you are in an actual thread, scroll down to the same area on the page and you'll find the link to subscribe to that topic.
Regional reps now have their own group setting on CASAAforum.org. You have an official title and show up in purple. Thanks to all who have joined so far!!

Hexkrak, where did you reply to volunteer? I don't see it at casaaforum.org? What area in Arizona will you represent?
CASAA needs you to represent your village, city, state, district, province, county or country! Please register in this thread if you are willing to help monitor your community for legislation changes, alert CASAA if there is an issue that needs to be addressed and be a contact person for CASAA in your area. In order to increase efficiency, we will be putting together an email list of area CASAA representatives. Your name and email address will only be given to the CASAA board of directors for future contact.
In order to be effective, CASAA members need to be active and participate in their community. Please volunteer today and keep the future of smoke-free alternatives safe!

Sign up at casaaforum.org
Subscribe to the Call to Action forum for alerts
Watch your region for attempted e-cig legislation
Alert the CASAA Board if such legislation is proposed
Gather a contact list (phone, email, address of legislators (mayor, governor, local & state house & senate) and save for future use
Be an area contact person for the CASAA board
Eventually, once we have a large number of area reps, we'll have a state/country/province rep assigned to each. This will be a much higher responsibility and probably the public face of CASAA for the larger area.
Right now, CASAA is just looking for members willing to be their "eyes & ears on the ground" for the organization.
The area rep position is an "in-house" position, as a contact and volunteer for the CASAA board, and is not authorized to speak publicly, in any official CASAA capacity, without express approval from the board.
