Thanks Sun. I'm brainstorming along the lines of a distinct looking e-cig "jumping" out of a pack of real cigarettes or a friendly looking dog standing apart from a pack of scruffy looking dogs or a runner in the lead of a marathon with an e-cig in his mouth! LOL! I don't know, just letting my thoughts run wild right now!

I was thinking along the same lines, Dee - did you see the one I just posted with the "pack" of smokers standing outside?

I see what you mean. I really like the tag line - it just needs a new image.

Here's a spin on it:

I know it's a different play on what Thad meant.

This is very good Kristen---takes the anger right out!!

Yes! And add the cleaner alternative "outside" the pack of smokers somewhere. Could there be a guy in a window using an ecig looking out at the smokers? Or, continuing to work while the others are outside smoking?
Since we advocate ALL smoking alternatives, we really don't want to feature just e-cigs, I think?

Yes, we shouldn't limit it to ecigs I suppose- that's just what came to mind first. I'm not sure about the woman leaning on the cigarettes. It kind of looks like she likes the cigarettes, not that she wants to try something else. Hmmm, "leaning on cigarettes"... seems like we could do something with that!
Something more like this?

She's happy she's outside of the pack, lol! Better with the "no" symbol through it, I think...

I really like the concept there. I was trying to find an image of the "Nails" brand used in Kevin Smith movies when I found the images I posted above. I like the idea of including a warning (or a lighthearted jab like "Coffin Nails" brand) on the pack.

Yeah, I was thinking of that "Nails" brand, too, lol! I bet we'd have some kind of copywrite issue there?

Upon reflection, I don't know how "dark" we want to get with this, though? We aren't ASH, after all. rather than doom & gloom, more of a sunny outlook? Promise of a better future, feel good & all that? ;)

I like developing more than one use for it. The "cute" thing about that phrase is the double entendre. Like the sign in the high school gym, "Anyone caught hanging on the rim will be suspended."

What I like best is an image that shows a stark contrast. Perhaps someone standing outside in bad weather smoking while everyone inside (including several people holding/using PVs) is looking a lot happier.

That's why I liked the image of the "pack of smokers" huddling outside in the cold, lol!

The tag line is great - we just need the right image. Or use them all - same tag line, different photos, like an ad campaign?
