I'm looking for a pen-style case to carry a single eGo or Riva-style PV - no juices, extra battery, etc - something that'll fit easily in my pocket. What do you guys use?

If just for a single PV maybe a lanyard case would be good for you?
I have 3 cases, the only kind I think might appeal to you (but maybe not if you are a guy) was I got this little black zip up nearby purses at the store, not really a purse, not really a wallet either, as it's mostly one opening with a few tiny pockets on the inner walls. It's just plain black, with a little black handle attached to the zipper that you can slip around your wrist and a keychain on it...I got it at a thrift store, was probably something that came along with a purse, or was sold with wallets and change purses...

I just bought a travel toothbrush case from Target that works perfectly. Only cost a buck too. Thanks for the suggestions.
Why do you need a case? Just put it in your pocket. If you are conerned about it going off, just unscrew the atty or carto one turn and it wiil not go off.
I don't know how you got your head in your pocket to see the light go off, but well done for bing able to do so.
Why would the button function differently while it's in my pocket?
The button does not function differently. The point is that if no current is flowing from the battery to the atty or carto, no resistance or heat will be created..
I just use a hard eye glass case with some foam rubber type filler in it for now.

l.m.m.f.a.o.if you want something simple - just buy a Cigar, give it to a friend, and keep the case.

I use ProVari w/Torpedo tank & Clear Shorty DT, fits nicely in my Bianchi flashlight holster w/snap flap closure and belt loop. The one I use won't fit with the extended cap, but the shorty batt lasts me the work shift anyway. JMHO

The small ego case works well and is actually the only one I'd recommend as the medium and the large cases aren't as protective, feel more flimsy and don't make smart use of the space as well as the little one does imho.
