LOL @ Madog ...

My wifey Joanna used to make these bacon things ... You wrap bacon around a piece of shrimp and pineapple and fry it ...

HOLY MOTHER OF MARY ... It is intense! All 3 combined = heaven.

Think she found it in a Rachel Ray cookbook (1 of about 200 Rachel Ray cookbooks she has...lol)

Best late night snack ever:
Kraft mac n cheez with bacon in it.

Back when I was married and actually cooked, I made waterchestnuts wrapped in bacon and bread sticks wrapped in bacon, rolled in parmasean cheese - yum. They had some fancy schmancy name, but I forgot what it was now. Good though. I would try bacon-flavored e-liquid. How about pepperoni?

Cash, you have connections with the flavor people now don't you? Is there such a thing as non-tobacco, non-fruit, non-spice, non-herb concentrated flavors used to make the e-liquid?

Since we're on a recipe kick...

Small slices/chunks of chicken breast wrapped around a Jalepeno slice or two from the jar, wrapped in bacon - held together with a toothpick, and baked/roasted for I don't know long or at what temp -just until cooked - set on paper towels to wick off the grease.

Even I can do it, and I suck at everything but grilling over charcoal...

LOL ... Jalepeno's !!!!

I go to Chipotle and get little chunks of them in my corn salsa and gaucamole and I think my mouth is on fire!!! You are talking whole slices ?!?!?! I would die !!! LOL

We had some friends over for a bbq a year or two ago, and I made some appetizers.

Get a dried date (the sort you get a Christmas, sticky and sweet), take the stone out, cram it full of Philladelphia cream cheese, stick a roasted almond in the middle of the cream cheese/date, wrap a rasher of smoked bacon round it, hold it together with a cocktail stick and bung it in the oven till the bacon is cooked.

People are still talking about them now. They were just amazing *drool* ! Not my recipe, pinched it off the internet, but really, really good.

Well Kit asked me to give him some recipes of "real chinese food" after I launched a tirade about how Chinese food as you find it in the US and the UK is actually not eaten by actual Chinese people. Despite what many people may think, we don't usually chow down on "Spicy Combination Number 3 with Pork Fried Rice."

It has bacon in it so I figured I'd share with you all:
This is a dish I developed sort of by accident. It's VERY simple but it was based around a dish my flatmate cooked when I was in London.

Peasant Cabbage (peasant is by far the funniest word in the English language for me)
This recipe is based on a 3-4 person meal.

2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic (don't be shy)
1 Head of Cabbage
1 Pound pack of Bacon
3 cups rice
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil (or less, just to cook the garlic as the bacon provides its own oil)
Sriracha Chili sauce to taste (Sriracha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

1. Wash the rice 2-3 times (it sometimes has some powdery stuff on it for color)
2. Put rice in ye olde rice cooker, add water and set to cook. Or you can boil it if you don't have one of those.
3. Slice cabbage in half and cut into strips about the size of two fingers; set aside
4. Cut the bacon into strips about the width of your finger
5. Heat oil in wok
6. Add garlic, stir but don't burn
7. Throw in the bacon and stir fry for five minutes. You should have some bacon fat rendered by now.
8. Add sliced cabbage and Sriracha Chili sauce, stir around to coat in bacon and Chili sauce
9. Cover wok and wait for 15 minutes. Go to your living room and vape a bit.
10. Uncover wok and stir around. Taste it. If the Cabbage is tender but not limp you've succeeded
11. Serve over rice and enjoy!

That sounds awesome. Just a thin coating of oil in the pan?
Temp?
How long?

I have to try that.

Coat a deep-ish pan with about 1/8 inch thick extra virgin olive oil. Take large scallops, wrapped in bacon, and lightly fry them in a pan with extra virgin olive oil. (until golden-crispy on the outside)
Place them on the oiled baking pan and place in preheated oven at 350 degrees F. Cook until "done". 10-15 mins if you like them chewy. 20-25 mins and they just melt in your mouth. Any longer and you'll lose moisture.

Best served with fresh fruit (i.e. grapes, strawberries, etc) and some sort of sharp cheese. You could also add a roasted walnut half on top of each scallop as a nice little garnish. (Preferably if you were to do this you would add the walnut before baking.) No seasoning needed.

I noticed today that puresmoker.com is stocking "CaSH ejuice Premium" 36mg flavors now. This is gonna save us USA buyers some $$$ if the taste/vapor compares with the WICKED brand.

They Currently have:
Banana
Black Coffee
Cherry-Licious
Coca Cola
Cuban Cigar
French Pipe
Green Apple
Green Tea
Licorice
Malibu Coconut
Mango Madness
Marlboro Special Blend
Milk Chocolate
Minty Menthol
Orange Peel

I was just about to order some WICKED when I spotted this. Has anyone done a comparison between CaSH eJuice and Totally Wicked 36mg yet? If I mix Chocolate and Coconut does it taste like a Mounds bar? 8-o

I do love Captain Morgan spiced Rum too.....
