They seem comfortable enough. When I do see them they're huddled together or sleeping on top of one another.

I haven't had a cat since I left my parents house. And, probably wouldn't have one now if you gave me one. But, my wife's little sister divorced her first husband because he "ran over and killed" her cat. I'm not much of a cat lover, but see no reason whatsoever to run over any other living thing. Think maybe her ex was/is one brick short of a load. JMHO
