Hey folks. I just ran across some information by accident and a bit more thorough search of the internet seems to have positively confirmed it. Apparently cats can react to propylene glycol and from reading online it appears that it may result in a form of anemia. I don't want to freak anyone out or anything because it seems to take a fair amount to have a severely negative effect, just want to put some info out there that I hadn't seen. Dogs and other animals do not seem to have this reaction, it is specific to cats. Of course you'll still want to keep your nicotine away from animals though.

I work for a National Cat Charity in the UK, and this is something we are aware of. The danger to cats would come mainly from juice being spilled and a cat walking through it, and then licking its paws.

I do have a fair few cats at my home, and some of them are very attracted to the vapour, but as long as we dont sit and blow vapour in our pets faces all day long, the danger is very small. But then again, we are not about to blow vapour into the face of anyone or anything..
