OK, dibs on a Reactor. I too cannot resist. And please bore out the second hole to match the stock one. Also please ship after your holidays. I can wait and it works better for me. :) Thanks and much appreciated.

Fantastic choice. My Chowderhead reactor hasn't left my REO since it arrived.

Seeing as I have only one other atty for my REO, a Cyclone, seemed to me a smart idea to have at least one more atty just in case if you get my drift. And with all the praise being heaped upon the Reactor as well as the fine work of Mr. Chowderhead modding them, how could I pass up the deal. Win/win.

Oh wow...I just discovered this thread and need to find another good atty for my Reo Mini that'll also do dual coils. But I'm totally confused now.

I want one that fits on the Mini that won't be too fat looking on top (is 19mm or 22mm too fat?) I'd like it to have about the same draw as the RM2, not too airy, not too tight. I want to be able to do both single and dual coils. Cyclone or Reactor? Or what? :)

Is your 2.1 a LP? If it "ISN'T" then the only atty currently to do duals would be the RM3 dual coil atty unless you drill another air hole in say a Cyclone, Era, or a Hornet. If it "IS" a LP then any dual coil atty would be good to go. The Reactor V2 is like 16mm, Atomic is 19mm, Cyclone w/ AFC is 16-17mm, Igo-W is 20mm, Magma's / Plume's / Stillair's are22mm... Basically the catch cup is about 19-20mm across on the 2.1's and the 22mm atty's don't look all that bad on them. I will vouch personally for the Reactor V2 as that is what I have been running for over a week now...

Thank you for that. I've got the LP in both the Grand and Mini and would like my attys to fit on either one. Think I'll try a Cyclone to start. :) Is there a big difference between the 2013 and 2014 model?

2013 model has a curved deck and uses allen head screws and the 2014 deck is flat with a little rim all the way around it. Remember if you want to do dual coils on the Cyclone you will need either the AFC top cap for it or have a second air hole drilled in the original top cap. Also note if you decide to drill the top cap the second hole isn't straight across from the other as the Cyclone is a 2 post atty... You can also run just a single coil with the AFC top cap as well...

Cyclones rock. I'm not sure how you could make a better single-coil atty than a Cyclone with the standard cap. The tiny chamber produces incredible flavor, to the point where I actually like most of my juices better "watered down" with some unflavored base in 'em.

The AFC cap is neat but it adds significantly to the chamber volume, meaning it vapes much differently than the standard cap on the same build, even with the airflow set to match the draw of whatever hole you have in a standard cap. I suspect the AFC cap is best with duals, but I don't bother building duals because I'm satisfied enough with my singles.

For bottom feeding, I like the older dished deck more; my sense is that it drains better. However, that's only true if you have the late 2013 version, where the juice hole is down at the level of the deck. The early 2013's had it up a few mm and it didn't drain well. I sent one of these to Chowderhead to see if he could re-drill the cross hole lower. I think he said he succeeded, but I don't have it back yet. My understanding is his TF->BF conversions have it in the correct location for full drainage.

Thanks muzichead. Gotcha. So I think I know what I need now (AFC top cap). Just waiting to see if he has any 2013 Cyclones available. :)

Don't you have a few Cyclones already?

Well with the score I made tonight in the classifieds, the impending RSM sale, and the stuff we both have being printed.... MOAR !! :D
Edit: and you sir pulled a Jake and got not one but TWO, so I had to change my dibs when I corrected the typo :p

My thanks to Chowderhead for the über fast response

On to the next Adventure.....

I have an opportunity to buy Authentic Paradigm Magma's direct, any interest or thoughts modded price would be around $130. What do you guys think? Clones are already on the way as well as a bunch of Plumeveil clones. Personally I want an authentic Magma or 5. Yay or Nay?

I know one place selling 'em, but they're $50 and ship from London, so....not much help.

Glad you are happy. The hidden hole doesn't look as cool but works soooo much better. I'm sold out of my version again but have old school factory bfs still. And once again I'm on the hunt for 2013 top feds. If you know of any let me know, my internet is almost out.
