Got my CH Magma today for my LP Grand and in place of the Origen b/f, early in the trial, but seeming better in the flavor dept. already.

Deep well drippers like the 2 above, require sensing how much juice and when to squonk, and at sub .5 ohms you better not have dry hits!

CH Magma: 2x 26g nichrome micro ID, like 7 wraps, = .35 ohms...
Vapor is massive, flavor abounds.
1x 18650 = less overall time, but you need less time puff for puff... hell, shouldn't even call them "puffs" anymore; these are serious clouds.

These have the same fast response as a Zenith, same vapor, better flavor imo.
At the smallest air setting compared to the Zenith which imo has too much air (just not my style), its still plenty.

Excellent job Chowder! Kudos

ps: I put some Cellucotton Rayon wick in because I wanted to be sure I got great wicking, as the coil is above the juice, well above the base, but the squonk hole is a bit elevated too so it does the job of wicking better than I expected.

Thanks ukeman you are too kind. As to the wicking don't fear the cotton. I was running dual tails on both wicks and it was over wicking. It would quench the coil to the point I was getting slow flavor but very little vapor. I cut one wick off of each coil and it came alive.
5 wraps, 2mm, 26g .27ohm kaboom flavor and clouds. Current favorite atty of all time.

Interesting about the wicking.
Vapor production is tops - almost too much (in a good way).
After a bit of "research" I have to say the Magma beats the Origen for flavor quite handily... (and the Origen b/f is no slouch there either).
I've been a "flavor chaser" for years myself; vapor production is just the "gravy" imo... and I like that too. :)

Its got to be the under coil air... as I always say... for a long time now my Prometey2 and Achilles are my favorite all time atty's. Single coil, single under coil air post... more civilized than the dual jobs, but Magma (and my Eclipse) could possibly change all that. (clouds clouds)

I'll bet titanium would be harder to drill out; just wondering... to a b/f. I mean a b/f Ti P2 or Achilles Ti wow... the only thing lacking is you have to refill them lol... b/f has got to be the most luxurious way to vape. (now that we're talking sub ohms).

Send me some pics of the deck top and bottom. I have been looking for a reason to buy some carbide bits.

+2 for the fusion drip tip. I need at least 1 more. They just work so well on the non-afc cyclones. My personal option is they look silly on the AFC. Besides, they are a small bore drip tip and I usually vape with the AFC open pretty close to all the way which is way too much air for the fusion drip tip in my opinion.

+1 for the fusion drip tip. I'd love to get hands on those!

This thread has some shots, lets start with that, but to my untrained eye, I don't see how you could put a b/f system in there.
Titanium is awesome imo when done right; super light, super durable.

I will let you know via pm when I'm ready to order if you want to ad a Variant, keep an eye out for when I am getting ready to order.
I got a Plume in as a "send in" and came up with a strategy. The gold looks very thin and not likely to peel or flake. I was impressed.

Magma's $48 shipped
Plumes $45 shipped
Atomics $45 shipped
Cyclones $55 shipped
Reactors $50 shipped
Send in service $20 plus postage for most conversions
Multiple atties in one box get a break pm for details

Hahaha, no I was just joking about the variANT. I do not have close to a grand that I could drop on a mod. I may be interested in a BF Plume though. I love the idea of all the direct airflow with a very small chamber. Have you tried it? If so what is your opinion of it? Better than the Atomic and Magma? It's completely different than the cyclones and reactors so you can't really compare them, but out of the larger atomizers how does it stack up?

Another big day in the shop today! Bottom fed my first Plume veil clone, no problem but I wouldn't try it at home. The tolerances are very tight on the Plume. Also finished almost all of the sent in stuff. Discovered my distributor needs glasses, of the 13 top fed Cyclones I was sent 5 of them were factory (VA) bottom fed. Also converted 5 more Atomic clones.

*******Current Inventory*******
VA Cyclone (2013 deck) CH BF (low holes) 8 available $50
VA Cyclone (2013 deck) Factory bottom fed 5 available $50
Madz Modz Reactor V2 CH BF 5 available $50
EHPRO Atomic CH BF 5 Available $40
Brass Quasar clone CH BF 1 available $40

I will be on Vacation August 19-25th but I will try to respond to this thread and PMs but the shipping and receiving department will also be on Vacation.
I will have Black Magma's soon after I get back with SS Magma's and Plumeveils soon after.
