You need some Hudy drivers.... I prefer allen hex to all other options. I have socket head allens and Phillips to retrofit if you insist.

Got the Mephisto, N22, and Veritas today, and all three look great.

Got the Mephisto, N22, and Veritas today, and all three look great. Thanks again for such a great deal, CH. Only problem is, I'm gonna give choice of one of them as a gift, and think I'm going to have to get another for myself since I now don't want to part with any of them.
Quick question: Turns out the screws on that first Dark Horse clone (which I'm pretty sure is not the same clone as the current one) were chromed brass, and they corroded when I soaked the atty. Any suggestions for good replacements?

What's the ETA on the Derringers. Just so I'm prepared. Thanks
Approximate outer diameter of the N22, and is it MTL friendly?
Add; I'm guessing 22mm Diameter, and pwheeler answered the second part...![]()

Received my Rogue yesterday. Thanks Tom for the quick ship...
First impressions are just meh at best. I had to change out the +post screw. It just wouldn't capture my 26g wire secure enough. It was bottomed out all the way and Ω's bounced all over the map. I took a screw from one of my Mephisto's for the time being and have been using it. It sets up real high and in fact goes up into the the drip tip hole in the top cap and collects condensation and gurgles. Need to find a shorter screw as I don't want to cut this one down. AFC seems to work pretty good, but whistles when its wide open.
I coiled it up w/ 26g 2.5mm duals w/ RxW @ .47Ω and though it is a flavorful vape, it is not dense at all vapor wise. I have tried raising and lowering the coils to no avail. Lower seems to be better than higher it would seem. I will rip out these coils today and try some 24g 1/16" TMC's and see how they work. I would hope the +post screw would capture the 24g wire better. If not I will have to try and find some screws elsewhere. If 24g doesn't in fact work, the Mephisto will go back on top of that grand.
I'm glad to see your post about the Rogue. Mine should be here today, I hope. The largest wire I have is 26g, so I may have to go with twisted wire, I think. Does anyone know what size of screws are in the Rogue?
Thanks, Tom. I might actually have some. I'll check when I go home for lunch.M3 thread x 3mm I would look for socket cap screws m3x4mm if I were looking.

Are you using single coil? I'm using dual 27awg with room to spare on the screw.
And what will that do to the cost having Mark patina those? I'd love to get one of his matched set, or an N22 patina and Reo door to match!I haven't decided yet but I do have 7 left out of the original 20. I have a few copper n22s left that I might send to Dready's for the patina extreme treatment.
