No brass in the 14mm version. Just add $55 for stock skinny pin or 70 for the fatty boom batty va pin with low drain.

id be down for lightweight atty's too but the weight out of the wallet I may not be able to handle.

Happy and Penguin please don't fight over my dreams.... Lol. I can believe there hasn't been any comments on the 7068/7050 aluminum. I could see that being highly controversial. I'm sick of overweight attys, they make my Reos top heavy and there is always room for improvement when it comes to conductivity.

yepp that's the reactor I got the other day, reactor duex madmodz.i am digging it too.vapes like a beast and like the way it sits on the reo lp but it misses by the tiniest bit of workin on the grand.so I may be getting the file out to do some modding on it like I did to the mini grand....used to be grand,,,now lp.

Those are probably ALL the wrong one.
A new 22mm Reactor just came out recently. It's just another atty...

The Catfish Reactor is a tiny little thing...and there's only one, an authentic Madz Modz.
Here's mine. I know - drip tip selection is pure genious. The combo is SOLID - feels like a hunk of steel with a couple coils deep inside somwhere...

The problem with the reactor is due to the non-negotiatable 200 piece MOQ and relatively low margins I have to know I could sell at least 2/3ds quickly much like the Derringer. The Reactor is awesome but it just doesn't have the market penetration that the Derringer has. The Reactor is THE atty that most people should be using on a 18490 device or any bottom feeder that lacks S/o contacts and/or a 30a high drain battery. I love my big attys but for efficiency and longevity I would rather have a Reactor over any other atty; Chalice included. I'm sure opinions vary on this but I am just not willing to put up with quirkiness just because it's bottom fed. This applies to my passed on Nuppins as well as my passed on Chalices. I try to keep up with latest and greatest of bottom feeding and I'm not convinced either of them were worth the hype. I'mho the Mephisto, the Derringer and the Veritas bf were superior but again opinions vary.

I have dreams of:
18mm Marquis bf with a 1 piece top cap
16mm Derringer bf with a severely cupped deck
18mm atomic bf with a cupped deck, functional afc, and decent hardware
16mm reactor with a cupped deck and a perfect afc

I would buy A and B and after dealing with Tom for over six months would be willing to pay in advance (I know he hates that[emoji10] ) to help fund the project. Because of his integrity and commitment to customer service I know my payment would be returned if for some reason a project didn't get off the ground.

I thank you for your vote of confidence; I try to treat others as I would hope to be treated if the tables were turned. I wish I wasn't nearly always disapointed when buying from others.

Six months? Wow! Loopy Lou P is hereby granted "OG Status".

There is but anything past #80 on the dibs list will have a delay until I have the pins ready. Shouldn't be more than a week.

Oh goody-I hope this means that the Derringers will be ready soon. Am having thumb joint replacements done on my hands. The right one on 3/3 and would like to get this puppy built before my hand is all casted up for two months. LOL Have a brass BF mod coming about the same time that is designated for the Derringer. Going to be sweet!

I plan to release the Derringer much sooner than the last batch. I currently have 120 pins ready to install with another 30 that just need to be drilled and cleaned. Minus the 70 piece group buy that I'm supplying on FB (yup those are mine also) leaves 80 pins done or almost done. I also have help coming to dismantle and re-pack the boxes and spares bags. Once I have the Derringers in hand I will try my very best to ship the following Monday.

I don't know if I've ever been this excited to give someone money.

I am definitely in for doing the same.

I must admit I guessed at the six months so I checked my messages.......my first CH purchase was a Zenith and a Tobh at the end of July. Still fire them up on occasion. Pretty good guess!

I'm not sure what to think on the 7068/7050 aluminum. I like the fact that it would be lighter, but will it really be a better conductor than SS or brass that we are using now? If so, why hasn't anyone used this material yet? I will agree that some atty's make the REO a little top heavy, but I don't use any of those, so it's not a problem for me. The only ones I know of that are that top heavy are the Magma, Veritas, and the Marquis so far... I don't seem to have any problems with my Mephisto's and certainly the Derringer doesn't really effect the top heaviness of the grand. Besides, aren't you using those gaudy overpriced blocks of metal from Tom for your top heavy atty's... Seems like they wouldn't be a problem on one of those...

And where is this 22mm Reactor that seems to be illusive in my google-fu? Can't seem to find it anywhere...
