That's what I meant... Drilling the new factory post I can go bigger, with the v1 post I really can't the threading on the outside of the post in conjunction with the bigger bore would make the post very thin. The new factory posts are a win win, we gain bigger bores, slotted terminal, the only thing given up would be adjustability. The stock pin if it's like the first one protrudes 4.8mm which is on the deeper end of the spectrum. For reference my Marquis is 4.5mm and the Magma is 4.95. If your 510 is to worn out for 4.8mm it's time for a new 510.
Gotcha... I figured as much but I didn't want you all mad at me thursday when all of the others from this weekend through today were arriving.
Ok well slotted post it is. That post Inswa just posted showing his 510 bore is big, but I thought I seen one in the first run that was huuuggge. Maybe I'm seeing things.. either way. Go BIG!! Do it for me!!!

Would we be able to specify our Derringer post preference, Tom? I'm still on the fence but having the ability to choose would be nice. Mine squonks like a beast with the CH post... not sure if I'd want to retain the stock factory post in unmodified form or not.

All of the V1 posts were exactly the same bore.
It does sound like using the new stock post is a win win. That gets my vote!

Tom, your efforts to solve the Derringer center pin issues were heroic and the results work a treat - no complaints.
That said....... a wider bore and a slotted pin would be groovy (but then, I didn't drive myself cuckoo making 170 new pins for the upcoming run).

Here's some interesting Derringer info...
Vaperev just received a fresh batch of Derringers (which has already sold out). Notice it has a SS post but it is not slotted. These also have a gunmetal finish vs. the plain SS. Not sure if this was a special run just for Vaperev or not.
And here we have an example from the latest batch received by The Vapor Lair - original finish and original gold plated copper post.
So, Tom... have you confirmed with Praxis what you'll be receiving? There seems to be three possible options.
And, on a related note, the gunmetal finish looks awesome.

Not sure if you've ever kept up with VapeRev, but a large portion of atty's they have done in the past were all VapeRev specific, down to color, material, and center pins... The guy sees what he likes and has the $ to have it specifically built for his customers. They tend to sell out in minutes usually....
Hope I made it... I heard they were under $100 modded? I'm down for 1x Derringer.
You all need to jump on the lancia train. It is gonna be EPIC.....good looks and flavor on par with smaller attys. I have one I modded myself and it is quickly becoming my favorite atty and I'm a small atty guy. Can't wait to get the Derringer from CH to compare it to.[emoji1]
As a test vehicle, I'm currently using a Lancia clone with glass tube installed on a PAPS to test run joose in. It's not authentic, not bf'd, but it does rock very well as a dripper with no leaking issues at all for my uses. So I can definitely see a BF Lancia that CH has worked his magic on in my future for the Reos when he gets the clear glass tubes worked out.
