The Omerta and Marquis are vastly different. The Omerta is more akin to a vertical coil derringer with top air that feeds through the the two layer cap/afc and actually hits the coil from the side. I very badly want to use mine but it's my showpiece for the upcoming run. The only comparison that I could make to the Marquis would be the Veritas.
I do not own a Marquis. I do have a Veritas, and as much as I wanted to really like it, it just never did much for me.
I don't know what to compare the omertà to... Inside its like an Origen and the marquis had offspring. But airflow options are just awesome, side or top; I build around .4 duals almost always.
I just like everything about it, and I didn't expect to. Only tried it because it was 20mm and had a top airflow option.
Eta: now that Tom posted before mine, mine seems silly and inferior as a response. Although I actually HAVE used mine [emoji5]️

I will launch it here. It is in the final stages of development. One of the guys from Critical Minds thinks very highly of me. I showed him the pics of my showpiece Omerta bf and he nearly lost his mind. The Omerta is in kind of a slump due to the facts: it's not a comp cloud atty, and it's not a derringer. The Omerta is the atty that everyone needs but most people either don know about it or have never though about it in a bf configuration. Think origen2 crossed with the Rogue but with an afc that works.
Check out the juice trench and easy SQUONK.
As much as the build deck weirds me out, I like the AFC design so much I'll probably hop onboard for one when ready. Even though there are better vapes than the Rogue, the no mess aspect keeps it in rotation.

I think the only reason I liked the Rogue as much as I did was the top airflow, it just worked for me. But nothing else about it was exceptional. That's the only thing you can compare though, between the Omerta & Rogue.
Just put in dual 28g twisted coils, coming in at .4 and super tasty.
Anyone got a price on the black top cap and the tips? Papal locked and loaded.... 10 min and counting
