just stopping by to clear up something about this\my post and clones
i am promoting nor condoning the use of them ,my situation is such a clone was my only real best option
most clones have their problems,,my derringer clone won't clamp down on 32ga wire,,i have to wrap it around the + post,,whatta PITA that is
but when i get back in the states you can bet your sweet bippy i am getting the real deal Derringer
Just a quick congrats to all the new soon to be Derringer owners. You are going to absolutely love it!!! That little powerhouse became my fav atty from the first build!
I have all the praxis dt's (bought from Tom of course). I recommend a delrin dt if you are planning on deep sub ohm builds as this little baby can get quite warm.

The ONLY accesories available at this time are the ones I had left over from the first run. This run was to be for Derringers only. This isn't news.

Bad Pix but you get the idea. Going to try the Reactor before I send it in, but that looks like a pin hole to me. But give it a go to see how it is anyway. Getting my first Reo Grand going at the same time.

- perfect flush landing on LP deck
- As mentioned, cap is tight, fine with me...
- Drip tip opening is VERY small - I had to try several tips before finding one that had any chance of going in!!
- I might have gone a little bigger on air, but it's good. I'm gonna tell myself that's why it seem totally leak-proof. Don't know if you've noticed, but on a stock Cyclone for instance, even if you squonk above the airhole, surface tension or something keeps the liquid inside. There must be a size (depending on liquid viscosity I presume) below which an airhole doesn't leak! This is a #51 hole and this liquid is something like 55VG.
- I actually made a twisted coil, but messed it up. I do that a lot.
- rather than try again, thinking "well, it IS a smallish airhole," I build a 6-wrap, 26 gauge coil, just under 0.6. And I think I nailed it - hitting just right! Lower and I'd be roasting juice I think.
- Also, I think the screws may be unique, I only have one hex driver and it was slipping, so I popped in a couple from a Cyclone (when I needed one, I bought a bag of 25, lol).

Reactor in normal mode is hitting well with very good flavor, but normal mode is what I always disliked about regular drippers. Heading to Chowda pretty quick.

People are still able to pay for Derringers? Heck I thought the 54 would of been done within hours of midnight last night... anybody know how many are left? Just curious. I know I am probably in the first few, I was on that s***, been waiting months for a real CH Derringer

I'm #19 or so on the list. The way I understood it, I just needed to pay sometime today.
54 Derringers were not on "hold" on the list. Order of payment for those 54 is FIFO - first in, first out.
Yup Nathan (inswa) is right first paid first out. So as long as you are in the first 54 payments you'll get the atty. I just hope someone is keeping track of how many people have payed??
