You are somewhat correct. The 54 were for the first 54 people on the list. All the time of payment did was determine which ones would get shipped first. Tom explained this several times and several others have reiterated it. Don't understand why some are still confused.
This was the way I understood it would work

Tom drilled a .... load of pins assuming he'd have to replace the plated pins found in the V1 Derringers. V1.2 Derringers came with SS pins and he's drilling the stock pins rather than retrofitting the ones he's already modded.

Bad Pix but you get the idea. Going to try the Reactor before I send it in, but that looks like a pin hole to me. But give it a go to see how it is anyway. Getting my first Reo Grand going at the same time.
I can put a VA pin in the reactor also.... Makes it easier to coil also.

The Derringers are done!
I ended up using my pins after all. I couldn't get the stock pin to stop spinning. praxis changed the isolator bushing to make the 510 stronger(no split decks on this run) but in the process made the pin more apt to spin. The nature of the pin would have also required a narrower bore 1.6mm-1.7mm vs my 2.2mm. I drilled one pin to 2mm and it seemed crappy and weak, between the weakness and the spinning issue I decided to go with what works. The positive terminal hole is not slotted on the bf version but it is a #51 (1.65mm) as are the horizontal juice vents. As always the stock pin is included with your Derringer. My pins are a lot cleaner looking this time due to the fact I knew all of the steps needed to make them beforehand this time. The last run it was a matter of figuring it out as I went.

I'm going to do a hellfire run soon, I'm already cleared for it via Darren(Hellfire) but I'm doing the 20mm UFO and the 16mm dripper. If your realy into the Raptor I would suggest getting in on the upcoming Marquis run.

im here now... I was a touch busy for the last 24hrs. 20 mini-freaks and 124 Derringers done, ready to ship. I will be making up labels and stuffing boxes until I collapse. Turk had mentioned we had the 54 Derringers figured out. By my calculations we are somewhere between 35 and 45 paid. I will have an exact count tomorrow. Hopefully early tomorrow morning.
I have 3 pages of PMs to filter through which begins now.
