I think we should all try to focus on establishing to ourselves what airflow and taste we are after.
For example I love the Marquis, veritas, raptor but I also love the rogue.
Broken down air: Marquis: 6/10 VERITAS 5.5/10, Raptor 5/10 rogue 8/10. I'm a 6/10 air kinda guy.
Imo the Nuppin is a 4/10 for air
Cyclone (stock cap)
Cyclone afc 3/10
Atomic 6/10 wide open
How much air do you like?
I guess I'm a 5/10 kind of guy. I like the Marquis, but close it down a little, Love the Veritas wide open, same with the Raptor, the non-bf Rogue I tried was mehh and way too airy for me and I love my Atomic now that I figured out how to not break the posts. i disagree with you on the Nuppin I think it's 5/10 wide open (which is how I run mine) I was actually surprised by the Derringer's airflow. I like it, but it definitely a different vape than the dense, thick vape of the Marquis/Veritas?Raptor. I actually put it right along side the Nuppin' for the type of open vape it is. I end up using the Nuppin, and Derringers quite a bit because they are so easy to build and re-wick, but when I have time to get them dialed in perfect, the Marquis and Veritas is the best. Oh and surprisingly the Astron is up there close to the Veritas in flavor, but with a little less airflow. I think it's the domed top cap and small chamber. With CH's convention to BF it's got a permanent home on one of my
dna squonkers, but then I also disagree with you CH on the Origen v3. It's not quite as good as the big 3 (Marquis/Veritas?Raptor) with dual vertical
coils and the airflow wide open it's close to that dense, wet
vaping we both seem to like. I don't recommend it to often because it's almost as difficult to get it setup with the perfect balance of wattage, airflow, resistance and wicking as the big 3 and when it's all said and done it's not quite there, but I do like the way it looks and it's still what I'd consider a "good vape".
I jumped on a few of the lists lately, but now that I've written down what I really like I may need to step back and do a little research on other atties that have the thick, wet warm vape that I like. The conflict I have is that I really love the smaller atties for both esthetics and pocket-ability, but all my favorites vapes are taller atties. I guess I should just happy that the top 3 are smaller than the Magma which was my favorite back in the day. (all gargantuan, leaky, and restricted airflow beast that it was)
Ok that was a big block of text, but I don't post all that often anymore in this thread so I figure I'm due. LOL
later folks,
