Looks good Muzichead. Did you drill out the air hole?

No, Chowderhead drilled the 2nd air hole for me. I believe they are 1.5mm... He did an awesome job on modding it. I have been vaping it all day. I think my Cyclone has been dethroned!! I really am enjoying it. The flavor and vapor are off the chain... The only problem I had building it was the screw ends were a little sharp and I cut one wire and felt like another was going to also. When I re-build it again I will take the screws and file them flat. I will add the screws for it are a little on the long end as well. I may just replace them with some shorter ones altogether. I will post some build pics tomorrow.

So my reactor isn't playing nice with my reo. When I get home I'll test it on my other reo, but my 28 gauge dual coil 0.4 ohm build isn't firing quickly. Takes like 10 seconds to produce decent vapor. Not sure if it's the reo or the reactor. I will say this, fills and drains superbly. I just don't know where this firing issue is coming in. Will keep you posted. I don't see how it could be the reactor, but also don't know how it could be the reo with a fresh battery.

If it fires perfectly on my other reo, I'll have to do some digging into why my reo is having issues.

Will have update soon.

EDIT: problem seems to be with that reo and seems to be fixed. Bit sure what happened but want making proper contact. Re screwed it Dien and works better.

Put me down for 2 AFC bf cyclones.

Reactor freshly received. Loaded with gplat, but not sure if I like it. Im going to re load with kanthal and I'm sure it will be kicking.

I had that same drip tip on mine when I first set it up and about 4 hits in I had to change it out. It was sucking all the heat from the atty and almost burnt my lips. Did not feel good at all, but looks great...

Hey Chowder,

Have you done a Helios yet? It's too leaky for use as an every day vape, but since I've gone all BF all the time, it would be neat to get it modded.

To leaky eh? I will keep that in mind when modding. Sounds like it would actually be BETTER suited as a bottom feeder due to the clearance of juice on the release of the squonk.

Here's a couple pics of the coils I put in my Reactor V2 yesterday. Vaping it like I stole it... I might point out in the second pic the negative lead broke off but is still tight inside the post and making a good connection. Was just too lazy to redo another coil. Will mod the screws later and recoil...

Alright guys on to new bussiness: I spent a little time in the shop today, modded a few sent in atties and converted three Magma clones. These are easily the nicest clones I have seen to date. All stainless, machined perfectly, rock solid. I think this may become my next Atomic. Until the mother load arrives I have these three for sale. I have 1 brushed ss blem and 2 black perfect Magma's.
Black Magma b/f $48 (2 available)
SS Magma b/f blem $30 (sold)
Brass Quasar clone b/f $40 (1 available)
Authentic Madz Modz Reactor v2 bf $50.80 (4 available)
EHPro Atomic b/f on the way
Vicious Ant (2013 cupped deck) Cyclone b/f on the way

Any suggestions for different atties? I'm all ears.
I am on the lookout for all SS Zenith clones.
Plumeveil Demo on the way.
I really like the flavor of the Magma. Puts out a nice vape. The clone I have has a super long 510 connection and rarely sits flush on anything. Have you had any troubles mounting it on a bottom feeder?

How's that look for low? The only issue I have had with the Magma was over wicking; I was anticipating slow wicking issues due to the height of the coil vs the pick up depth so I ran the wicks on both ends of the coils (mistake). When I cut one wick off each coil the vapor was awesome. When you get the balance even close to correct on this one it produces the thickest vapor of any I have used to date.

I initially had a similar problem with my Reactor. I pressed the positive post down a mm or so so it would make contact inside the REO's 510. Problem solved.
