RSM does make only wood mods. He makes both bottom feed and recessed tank models in both regulated abd unregulated varieties.
The bottom feeders have a 15mm catch cup I believe.

Life is about the ride... You can't take it with you... Plus I'm pretty sure I can do them for well under that.
Red Sky does the Cruiser, an 18650 mech BF mod in wood. You'll need to mod it to handle anything below around 0.7-0.8 ohms, though, I think existing hardware has around a 6 or 7 amp limit.
The dearth of bottom feeders is why a bunch of us jumped on the Gdeal beta test. And his new Peko mech will be very easy to build, and I believe the hardware will handle the kind of power you mention. And since you seem to know your way around a Philips screwdriver
, there's a host of improvements that could be made to it to definitely handle the resistances you mention. Mr. Mundy has already made a bunch of mods to the original hardware set, like swapping the brass rod out for copper.Join us, join us.

I've purchased a couple of his caddies too, and I like em a lot. He's supposed to have a new variation (or a rebirth of an old one) on this next run too. The older model mods were rated at 6amps but he says the newer ones are 10amp.

It's not available just yet, but should be fairly soon. It sounds like the smallest footprint bottom feeder going that I know of.

Unless you could convince him to make an authentic run of blacks. I'd rather get the authentic, but he doesn't make a black one.

The Hobo v2.1 is out now. It now has a stainless center post, but the 510 pin is still copper. Think it might be possible to replace the pin with a stainless screw or something so that it could still be converted to a bottom feeder? I'd really like to find a way to get this one converted but juice through the copper pin still bothers me.

I have one I can send you, but it has the copper pin and copper post. I actually just ordered the 2.1 as well.
I literally just got off the phone with Hoberto (Hobo Himself). Looks like the Hobo v2 is going to be the next run! I have confirmed that the pin will work with my methods. Now to get through to his distributor..... Not sure if you can tell but I'm psyched! I have wanted one of these since the v1 came out but let it go due to the pin being copper. The V2 is stainless with a copper contact.
I will ask him for a 2.1 pin for you next we speak...
