I am assuming Redsky only does wood mods? Any metal mechanicals? I have a dna 30 elevator2 and it just doesn't have the power that I'm used too. All of my current bf devices are Reo SL/LP with the S/O contacts pushing .35 ohms or less. By the calculations I'm pushing 45+ watts all the time. I would love a VariAnt in a bottom feeder.

The next Evolv board has been rumored to be 50 watts. I would assume Redskymods would probably have it out by next summer or fall at the latest; that is assuming he likes the board.

Actually, the word is 40 watts I hear

Well, I have only read rumors. I am more interested in possible temp control(?) that was shown by Pbusardo. I don't like changing batteries as is.

Yeah, I honestly don't see much need for regulated exceeding the 40-50 watts. I mean that would allow builds down to about 0.25-0.32 ohms, at about 11-14amps. Honestly, I would hate having to change the battery that much in such a nice mod. I plan on getting two in the next year or so. They would be my and my wife's at home vape. They are beautiful looking mods, but you have to be ready to jump when he says so.

So the consensus is that CLT is better than the Plumeveil?

For me it is, but just because it's not as leaky as the plumeveil. I just find the plumeveil to be terrible as a bottom feeder (don't hate me chowder!) because of the position of the airholes in the negative posts.

But that aside... The plumeveil can have a airier maxed out draw, has single coil airflow option, delrin driptip part in the top cap. Smaller chamber.

But yeah. The leakiness was good enough a reason to ditch my plumeveil completely. And no I don't over squonk. Nods. I do find that because I like a warmer vape, I had to drop my resistance from my usual 0.8 ohms to approx 0.65 ohms to get the same heat I get from a plumeveil.

I would agree for the most part the CLT is a hard atty to beat. On the Plume the part that makes it special also makes it a pain; the lower set of undercoil air holes. Just think on a bf you have the ability to evacuate the un-needed juice. In a top fed application the problem is far worse.

Trunker...I'm glad you are liking the CLT. I have quite a few higher end drippers and the CLT is still one of my favorites. One feature of the CLT that I really like is the knurled top cap edge that makes adjusting the airflow so easy. I've seen the V2 and I like the original better. The original is a bit on the big size and the V2 is even bigger (taller) like 52mm. The V2 also has additional airflow holes similar to the PlumeVeil that may lead to leakage. I also think the original looks better than the V2. The original with dual 27ga .4ohm low nic vg juice airflow wide open will fog my man cave with one toot!!

I have a Magma and Divo coming from Tom tomorrow and a 454 Big Block and a TugBoat coming Thursday so I'll have more attys to play with!!

My wife likes the Red Sky Cruisers and has a couple of them - there is an HD version (heavy duty?) that has 10A springs and switchgear. I have a few of his mods and they are beautifully made.

If you like regulated bottom feeders that are one-offs, worth a look.

BTW - i owe a thanks to Freedog who recommended the CLT atty Chowder sold me. It's fantastic. No sooner have i got it ticking along that v2 is released! smh.

Tom the VariAnt looks very nice, pricey, but nice. Don't know if I would ever need 120 watts but would be cool to have. I still play around with a Cana Modz but that little guy only goes to 30 watts which means the lowest ohm coil you can use is .6 ohm. I primarily use the Cana when i test juices.

I actually wish VA would come out with a 50 watt version!!

Will you take a send in CLT along with these others I still haven't sent? Just got it yesterday afternoon and was hoping to get them all done at once.

And I might be in for a Dark Horse clone should you decide to do a run on those too. Was just checking that RDA out last night!

Send it.. I don't remeber what else you are sending. You have to understand that for every 10 attys that are going to be sent I only see maybe 2. Although I must admit the day I recieved MamaTried's box I will remember forever; looked like a care package from my mother, 2 of everything. Which reminds me:

*******I DO NOT AND WILL NOT TOUCH A RM2 for any reason! If you meet me and see one in my hands fell free to knock it out of my hands and mock me. ********** I don't mind tiny, I don't mind sub-standard quality, but put them both together and I'm out. If you insist I will send you screws for it but just don't send it here!

I'm not mocking or pointing the finger at MamaTried but from this point forward consider your self warned. Problem with a rm2? Call Rob.
