Jeeesh people...... Talk about a free for all.

Ok so I'm going to try and clear a few things up. Chowder can correct me if I'm wrong.

Reo buttons: Chowder asked about my custom knurled button he saw in a picture I posted of my Marquis build on top of a Reo. Once I told him he couldn't get them anymore he mentioned making his own by buying an attachment that does knurling. That led into a conversation about empty ammunition shell casings which he said he could also probably do. Then he asked if people were interested in something like that. Not different colors, not different materials just what he had mentioned. Also PeKo buttons are built completely different and will not work at all like Reo buttons.

The Marquis: Chowder is of the opinion that it is an atomizer that just begs for really low builds. Higher builds (above .4) is just a waste of a build. This is an opinion... and while I agree that it works really well at super low builds it works perfectly fine at higher sub-ohms. I don't know how it would vape with a 1.2ohm build, but I imagine it would probably suck.

The Reactors: Chowder has said that he could get some more from MadzModz, but they require a minimum order of 200. He said he'd order them if he would get 160 people to agree to buy one. So someone created a list. No these Reactors do not come with an AFC. These are standard Reactors v2 that he converts to bottom feeding.

The custom atty that Chowder has mentioned is still in planning stages and has not been shopped out to see if it's even possible yet. No need to get on a list yet since they may never even be made.

Any screws that cut your wires in any atomizer should be removed and sanded on the bottom. This should keep them from not cutting your wire when building. This tip is not atomizer specific.

Holy hell people... just reading through the last 3-4 pages made my head hurt and I'm not even the one being asked the questions.

Also Chowderhead I think you should look into to making custom belt buckles that say "My Squonker  Catfish".... Someone should start a dibs list.....

Welcome to my life Ken.
Just to clarify:
I'm looking into making buttons, I'm just gathering info at this point. I do have an idea that will blow your minds that as far as im aware have never been tried before.

The Bullet button concept really isn't my thing but then again neither are cyclones and the like. If I end up doing buttons I will do those also, seems simple enough.

I'm not messing with Resin!

My only trepidation with titanium is the actual hardness and being able to knurl it.

the logistics of a button "list" is going to be a nightmare. I think instead of a list it would be better to post your ideas and I will spend one day a month making them and I will post what is available and first come first serve. I really don't want to lose my focus on attys. I feel I can be of much more use to you guys with my atty work but much like the attys there are a lot of things in life that I realize if I want it done right I will have to do it myself. Not being cocky but it's just the way I was raised. As the great philosopher Vince Vaughn said; He who hesitates, .........es.... Works at last call, applies here loosely as well. Don't sit on a great idea, run with it. I will try to run with it.

Man, you've got the biggest ti-fetish ever!!!

You don't know the half of it....

I have 6 pairs of Oakley xMetal sunglasses (cast titanium) (starts@ $300 a pair) (out of production) I have flashlights made of Ti, pens made of Ti, knives with Ti handles. 7068 is my new Ti! 90% of the strength at almost half the weight. I also had the original MB Evolved (Ti) but sold it as I have done with all of my MB stuff. I will not be a hypocrite!

Hi Tom,
Just wanted to report back to you; whatever you did to my Vertex works just fine, no issues with the top cap. The Marquis also now threads perfectly on all my Reos. As always thanks for all that you do!!

I'm still forcing the issue with my supplier. That was 3 wraps of waxed dental floss around the deck inside the o-ring. For anyone else that wants the details.

.050.

Hudy US Standard Allen Wrench (0.05" x 60mm) [HUD125020] | RC Cars - AMain.com - AMain.com

I have 4 of them with three replacement shafts. Without .035, .050, 2mm and 2.5mm I'm crippled. I truly have no idea how people can use those ridiculous L wrenches. I went out and bought 2 t-10 Hudy wrenches the day my TMod arrived. Much better. I found the L wrench that comes with the TMod useful in dire emergencies only.

For ECig use I would highly suggest the following in Hudy:
.035"
.050"
1/16"
1.5mm
2mm
3mm Phillips
4mm flat
If you are serious about rebuildables this will be the best $150-$200 that you have ever spent. The shafts make great coil wrapping mandrels also. I wish I was a distributor of Hudy but they are very particular on who they deal with. Stormer hobbies also sells Hudy for slightly less but they don't have as many options.

Just ordered this .05 along with a .035 . Also ordered a torx t10 driver off Amazon. I think my hands will thank me [emoji4] I currently have a little cobalt driver with replacements heads that works with alot of my stuff but not all. Hope this does me for awhile. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction CH [emoji1]

I'm looking at doing an order too. So, the .035 and .05 should cover most atty screws? Did you order all Hudys? I know they're top quality but spendy and I kind of doing a lot of that right now [emoji51]

I got both of those in the Hudy brand at the Hobby store in the link. Could't find any on Amazon where I ordered a $5.00 Stanley torx t10 driver thingy. The Hudys are a little pricy but they should be able to earn their keep [emoji6]

Traded for a Catfish modded Vertex V2 and for some reason it is not draining the excess juice back into the bottle. I am running it on a fully upgraded REO Grand with the new adjustable 510 and subohm package. I have tried adjusting how tight I have the bottle/cap connection but no change. It is really inconvenient having to vape it dry every time before putting away because if I do not, it leaks all down the side of my REO while sitting, not to mention the oversaturated vape from an attie full of juice. Any Suggestions?
