Tom, if I love the derringer, am I going to love the rematty?
I couldn't say... I haven't touched one yet. I will try to take pics when the come in. I need to figure out how to take pics with my iPad or iPhone 6+ and reduce the resolution to under 1mb. Any hints would be helpful.

Tom,
Do you get a resize option when you attempt to email a photo? ( email em to yourself at the lower res.) No app needed.

cheers

Hi Tom,

I traded emails with you this morning. Is this the right place you directed me to? I was the person looking for some Rogue screws and a Derringer atty.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Kori

Bullseye... If you would please Turk...

I will warn you however I do not send notices, invoices, or smoke signals that it's time to pay. I post here in this forum when I order them, again when I receive them and yet again when they are ready to ship. They are eligible for payment once I have them in my hands. Payment is due no later than 48hrs after they are ready to ship. Derringers not paid for by the end of that 48hrs are subject to sale to others either here or Facebook or email. The easiest way to know when is to follow this forum.

In regards to the screws: what color are yours? Black or SS? The earlier versions have black screws that occasionally too short. The SS screws I provided on the later runs are longer and on a few rogues I actually had to grind .5mm off of the negative screws so they would screw all the way down to trap the coil wire. If you have SS screws on yours take them all out and look at the ends, there may be 2 of them that have been machined down and will have a slightly conical point, those are your negative screws. The full length screw is your positive screw.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the quick reply and I also received your email. I will gladly send payment for a Derringer and replacement screws for the Rogue. I just need to know what everything costs and where to send payment.

I am not one that needs to be hounded for cash, so we are good on that front. I just need to know where you would like to take my money. :)

Thanks, again!

I don't have an iPhone, but just a quick general suggestion. Go into your camera settings and lower your resolution. It may be listed as photo size, or by mega-pixel. Hope this helps point you in the right direction. Don't forget that when you're done taking photos for posting, to crank your picture res back up or you'll be wondering why your pics aren't as nice as before. ;)

And yet another reason I prefer email to pms. I will try that..

The nice thing about doing it this way from iOS, is that when you hit 'send' from the email, you'll have a choice of small, medium, large or actual, and it will tell you the size of each option.

When it's time to pay, do we just email you our info, like shipping address, what we're ordering, etc, and then pay through PayPal to your hotmail addy? Is that how it's done?

Precisely. I'm sorry for the change, but the new pm software is unusable.

No such option on the latest iOS that I can find. I will do a search...

It seems like they take away the resize option in email--at least in the numerous ways I tried on my iPhone 6. But if you take a screenshot of the picture you want to email/send, the screenshot is going to be smaller in size vs the actual picture--but of course this option doesn't guarantee if the screenshot is going to be smaller than 1mb. Otherwise the other option seems to be just use a third-party app from the App Store....wonder when they take the resize option away as I remember it was there before...

Scratch that. Found the option again. Not sure what happened but all at a sudden it pops up again. I was playing with sending a pic by selecting the pic in camera roll, action menu to email, played with different email addresses in to and from field, then the option appears again. Sorry for two posts in a roll.

How to resize a picture on iPhone
I got the one simpleresizer and got a pic then changed the size of it chose a pic then chose resize put in half the width it gives the size.
transferred them to computer and original was 2.1mb the resized 300kb and they both look mostly the same.
Another one crop-resize image tool same thing but a few more touches - choose pic then resize then I chose percent% and put in 50 then resize then export then save and it goes to your photo library.
It went from 2mb to 390kb.
This was all done rather fast. On iPhone 6+

Hey Tom, I post pics directly from my iPad to the site. Just shoot the pic with your iPad. Go to upload a file next to post reply and pick the image you want to post. I've never had to resize or use any 3rd party software. One of the good features of the new ECF. Hope that helps!

About 2/3rds of the Manta2's should have delivered today. Any feedback?
The sx350j boards arrived today, looks like a pretty straight forward set up. I just need to find button actuator inserts and order some 510s.

I ordered 2 Velocity RDAs to convert for personal consumption. I was going to do a run of them but I'm glad I didn't. These were supposed to be the mini Marquis with lots of airflow. While it has more airflow than the Rogue ever dreamed of it the exact same size as the Marquis. The Marquis is great although it's large. Other than being crazy simple to build on I really don't see an upshot to the Velocity for us. I don't think even SuperX would like this much air flow and I know the size would make it a non-starter.

In other news I recently got in on a Group buy of Charlie Noble juice and Tripoli is one of the very best juices I have ever tried. It's a Fig (yes Fig) based juice. I never would have thought I would enjoy Fig juice but it's amazing. I also got a few 120s of Reserve Pistachio RY4 and I would say it's one of the smoothest ry4s I have tried with just a hint of pistachio. I also got PB Cereal from them and I like it but I'm not in love with it. It's the first peanut flavored juice that I have used that very much tastes like peanut AND doesn't taste like dirt when your wick is slightly over saturated. I am very picky when it comes to juice. I have gallons of high end juice here that just doesn't do a thing for me. I should have a juice sale... I buy 120's and 200's and try them and most are never touched again. The only issue is I use all 12mg juice.
