I don't see any propaganda here, this video says the truth.
Whether you believe it or not the CDC has guidelines they have to follow. They have to make statements based on provable truth from their research. The video is opinion not based on facts. Propaganda.

I think I understand. Whether or not we agree/disagree with what was said, it's still basically BS. You are definitely a no BS guy! You can seem a bit harsh... good, most of us are too nice anyway.

If I come off as harsh I apologize. I really don't mean to be. We all have our presumptions of what happened but in reality that is all we have. I'm not a fan of the CDC but they can only go by the facts that they have. On the other hand if there is a provable cover up then heads should roll.

I understand that you want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but in this case you are are wrong. During this "crisis" there were Congressional hearings (which I watched two of live on CSPAN) where a CDC representative did blame the issue on nicotine vaping, and even went on to say that vaping PG and VG are not safe but that vaping approved THC carts was safe (despite the fact those also contain the same PG and VG) and also added that a nic juice flavor ban would NOT impact adults. Sorry, but you claiming they are only going to state things they can prove is the opposite of what I have seen from them.

Apples and oranges. I'm not saying you're wrong but it's 2 different subjects.

You should be mad. IN MY OPINION this is the kind of garbage that follows WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. Whenever you hear that you know the SOMETHING won't be correct.

I have worked in IT for 25 years, and any time there is a problem, BEFORE any change is made we first do a "root cause analysis". We don't want to just band-aid the issue. We don't want to address just the immediate cause. We want to find and fix the issue at it's root. Why is it that NO ONE, in the history of politics, has learned to think this way? They always want to throw on the fastest most expensive band-aid they can find, even if it just makes the problem worse.

Because ... in politics, real world problems aren't to be solved, they are to be used to solve political problems such as how to get re-elected, how to get more power/control, and how to get more money.

I think that one thing that is overlooked when it comes to the sciences, they can be biased by individuals performing investigations. Due to their opinions and also for monetary gain (grants, funding).

As it's amazing what you can turn raw data into with statistical analysis. So beforehand it's a straight line (raw data), now it's a pretzel (statistically analysed data).
