I normally use the Boge LR 2.0ohm. I've been checking out these CE2 cartos... XL (2.6-2.8ohm). Can I use these on a Riva 510 and a Hello 016? They're bigger for use, when I make my Syringe tank mod, and no filler sounds like a good idea. I still worry about inhaling burnt cartomizer. I want to stock up on cartos, so was planning on ordering quite a few. If I get the Provari,(I'm planning to order one soon) are the CE2s OK with that device? The ohm thing confuses me...

CE2 "fillerless" cartos have a 510 threading, Sharon dear. So they'll work on any device that has a 510 connection, which includes the ProVari.

That said...make sure you try one box first before you buy a bunch, so you can get a feel for whether you like 'em or not. People either love them, or hate them. I'm amongst the latter. There were wicking issues, filling issues, taste issues...leaking issues, juice was getting in my mouth. But if you're having a good experience, that's great!

One more thing :you really don't need to worry about burning filler in Boge cartos, as long as you keep 'em wet. Wet carto means you're good & the filler will be fine. If there was any burning happening...you'd really notice it, quickly. But I'm using the 3 ohm Boges. 2 ohms are gonna run a bit hotter. In my experience, people who are having issues with cartos are often running them too hot, like at too high a voltage...or not refilling often enough. But that's one of the great things about your ProVari - a few presses of the button & you can check the carto's ohms, & adjust the voltage to a comfortable place, no prob.

Happy vaping hon!

I've stated my case before.

Rachel is right about trying them out before stocking up. When I was using a stock eGo I found 2.4-2.6ohms were better for "most" of my juices (they were hotter and better tasting). However with that said I currently use the 2.6-2.8 ohms with an eGo booster around 4.2v and love them. They work good at 3.7v (which is where your pv's are "roughly") just the vape is a little cooler (I prefer the extra heat from 4.2v).

Give them a try, just be fair warned that they are prone to cracking (unless you get the newest kind out there with the different type of plastic). Even worse if you use anything with cinnamon or highly acidic juices.

As for cleaning (and I know this looks bad on me as I have the GV sig and am posting a GV video but I do believe that it has the right information that people need..... excluding fluffing the wicks).

You can get CE2's with 510 threads for your Riva or your Hello 16. They work Perfect on a Provari, or any other VVPV for that matter. I'm hitting on a CE2/Provari while I type this.

Right now there are basicaly Two versions of the CE2's being sold. The older ones, which have a Completely Clear tube. And the Newer Version which have a Frosted Clear Tube. Only buy the Newer Versions. The older version tubes, the completely clear ones, were prone to cracking and leaking.

CE2's come in Two sizes. Regular and XL. I like the XL's better because you don't have to fill them as often.

The choice of ohms is Very Important. The Lower the ohm number, the hotter the carto is. The higher the ohm, the cooler the carto. Too low an ohm and your e-Liquids taste burnt. Too high and you don't get alot of taste or vapr.

I would suggest that you get 2.6~2.8 ohms. Any ohm within reason will work on a VVPV but I've found that 2.6~2.8 ohms works well one an eGo/Riva for a wide range of e-Liquids.

If I was you, I would get a 5 pack and try them out Before you buy a bunch of them. I would also do a little reading about them as to Filling, Cleaning and Performance Tips.

You also post CE2 specific questions here...

Badkolo, a forum supplier - GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more , as well as a small core group of ECF members has been involved with the CE2's (E2 back then) since day one.

Hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks guys...great info!

I think I'll stick to my Boge LR 2.0 cartos.... I really like them. I hate fiddling with things and the CE2s seem like more fiddling to me...

I'm trying to order in bulk, as the shipping here, for small orders adds up.

If you don't like fiddling with things than you probably won't like a CE2. I say probably because there are people who use them straight out of the box and they work fine.

Whereas making a huge order of CE2's without knowing if you like them would be unwise, you still should buy a 5 pack to try them.

Nothing, I mean NOTHING, hits better than a Brand New CE2 when it is hitting well. That is why people are willing to fiddle a little with a CE2.

Very objective advice! What might work for many may not work for a few and vice versa. I had issues with the CE2's with the clear tubes, obv it was the cracking that caused my grief and the lack of a VV device.

These had by far the best flavour of any carto I have tried to date but since I was using them at 3.3 (eGo) at 2.6-2.8 ohm it was less than enthusing. Everyone is different and has different hardware, so it is great to see non-biased advice given pertaining to any hardware, juice or etc.

Thanks NoizMaker…

I’ve been involved with the CE2(E2) since they were originally released. I’ve seen them evolve to what today is a Pretty Damn Good Carto.

That said, a non-mod-ed CE2 works best on Thinner, Higher PG based e-Liquids. But I don’t use these. I like High VG e-Liquids so for me, fiddling with a CE2 was out of necessity.

But I wouldn’t have put any effort into them if the Hit wasn’t Head and Shoulders above ANYTHING else I have tried. And I have tried just about Everything.

If I was you using an eGo, I would try the next step down in ohms before you write off CE2’s completely. The hit of a 2.4~2.6ohm CE2 is too hot for me and my e-Liquids and the e-Liquids I use but as you mentions, everyone is different.

A 5 pack of CE2 costs about 14 bucks. That is what I smoked every Two Days when I had the analog hook in my mouth.

That is why I never minded trying new cartos or attys or whatever. I'm still saving a bunch of money, as well as feeling better, even if some cart or atty doesn't work out for me.
