ce2 fat wick problems

I have a lot of boxes of ce2 clearomizers with the fat wicks and
opened a few boxes to make syringe mods and 10 out of the first
15 the coil turned bright red and had a burnt taste to it. I tried to
vape out the burnt taste and half of them just died and the rest
are not good due to the taste. I never had this happen befor with
the newer clearo's and wanted to know if anyone else had this problem
and is there a fix ? I ordered from a few venders so I cant say which
vender they came from.

I've used both and notice no difference. The burnt taste sounds like the atty isn't getting enough juice which would explain the early death due to running the atty dry.

I would try adjusting the seal that fits around the cup. I cut a upside down v shape in to widen the area on both sides where the wick goes through and when I'm replacing them I only insert the seal far enough down to where it fits around the ceramic cup and stop there.

After I started doing this with the syringe mod they've became my favorite carto by far.

I just received a 5 pack from Madvapes. I've only tried one, but it's been going strong for the last couple of days. Sounds like you got a bad run or something.
