CE2 Fluxomizer Conversion kit

OK, just a couple of notes about these from my experience so far:

1. I use normal drip tips, both the available-everywhere plastic ones, and the new vase ones from GV, and I've had no leaks so far at all with this conversion kit. None. I have not turned it completely upside-down, but I did try holding my PV at about 30 degree angle above the horizontal with no problems whatsoever.

2. I don't know if it's just me, for for some reason these plugs (the ones that go over the atomizer cup, just to avoid any possible confusion) seem to improve wicking. I am currently almost to the bottom of my XL Flux with no dry hits - and I don't have to hold it horizontal all the time. Also, it seems to tighten the draw a bit, which I like very much.

1.) Just got mine in today, I completely agree with you on using a normal drip tip with the improved cup seal & this was my intention to do so from the start when I saw the first pics badkolo put up. My experience mirrors yours.

2.) Since the new cup seal sits nicely on the cup, it may be creating more of a vacuum within the center tube to allow juice to be pulled in from the wicks on each draw. My theory.

I've installed them on all Fluxos that are next on my rotation. I find it best to remove the tubes, place the cup seals over the cup and then install the tubes back on for best fit & alignment.

I was going to make a video on that exact same thing for those whose might be having a little trouble with putting them on & save a little time & frustration for others. I would mention that by removing the tube, the new cup seal gets pressed nicely against the side walls of the Fluxo & centers pretty nicely, if it feels a little to snug. Put a drop of juice in the tube to lubricate it before reassembly. Today's my day off, but I just got called in to take care of a few problems.....so I pass the torch along to you bad!

Been chain vaping this combo, and no gurgle, no leaks, & nice wicking. Thumbs way up!.......Going off to get my Menthol Mania for a refill.....

Removing a tube is a great idea, I'll do it that way on the next one.

Can I just say that the seal on the bottom of the mouthpiece would probably be better served concave instead of convex?

Just got back from taking care of my work situation GAAHH! My so called day off continues....

Pretty little Fluxos all in a row....

Waiting patiently for the juice to flow....

Here's another tip, pun intended....when you remove the tube, flip it around so the battery connector end is used for a standard drip tip. It will go in much easier & the battery end will be tighter since its not flared out yet.

Thanks bad! Any chance of new Fluxo colors coming? Maybe just replacement tubes? Would be nice, red, blue, yellow? How about a combo deal, # colored replacement tubes with matching drip tip. Would be great if you have multiple juices & can color code which juice is in each Fluxo. Just a suggestion & throwing it out there for you.

Ok, check this out...

Do the tube off, cup seal on, tube on... (genius)
Then put a 'fill nipple' in the end of a standard plastic drip tip, and pop it in. It seals the connection, and allows you to use a drip tip!

Personally, I would like to see the 'conversion kit' without the mouthpiece, just a wider tapered tube that would fit into a drip tip, to imitate this idea...



EDIT: I am using the standard clear plastic drip tips, like GotVapes sells...
I tried it with one of my delrin DTs, and the hole was to narrow to fit the 'nipple' into.

you need to see a video to take a tube off and put it back on? just pull the tube off, position the rubber piece over the ceramic cup the way you want it and slide the tube back on.

On another note, a few things I have noticed.

1.) It seems I can run my Fluxos at a lower voltage than before with the new cup seals. Where I used to run @ 4.4v to 5.0v, I can vape at the 3.7-4.0 volt range & get the same flavor & vapor. I tried them on my eGo & was surprised at the vapor & flavor it was producing, similar to a LR cartomizer. If I go to my previous voltages, the vape gets really warm & you get the slightly burnt taste. At the lower voltages, I can chain vape & it's very consistent & by chain vape I really mean taking a drag like every 15-30 seconds after an exhale for minutes at a time. I used to burn through analog 100's in two minutes.

2.) I seem to be using a lot less juice than before, most likely an effect of less voltage possibly. I went to work with two Fluxos each with different juice with the new seals & refilled them only once while being at my desk practically the whole day. I normally refill twice to three times on each Fluxo while at work.

3.) As briar mentioned, it seems I don't have to do the "tilt" to vape on them to avoid a dry hit. I did get a dry hit, but the Fluxo was empty when I took a look at it. Refilled & vaped on. I guess the cup seal does provide more vacuum effect & the result is the tighter draw.

Can anyone verify if they have had similar experiences?

I got mine last night and I'm really disappointed that the neat little mouthpieces don't fit. They are small and perfectly formed, if only they were the correct diameter they would be great.

The new cup seal is pretty loose too, is that going to be resized as well Chris?

And when can we expect to see the updated ones?

I am finding that is true as well. And particularly with the steel ones. Now if I get a bad hit it is always because fluid is out. Simplifies things tremendously with these non clear ones.

i assume by fill nipple you mean the ones that come in the sapphire? can't you just take the rubber piece out of the bottom of the plastic tip it comes with and stick it in the drip tip? thats what I did to use the rubber tip that comes one per pack, although that tip sucks so I might buy some drip tips.

I used one this morning with a recycled, cleaned and dry burned Fluxo. I put the revised cup seal on before slipping the guts into the tube. I used a regular drip tip. It worked perfectly. No leaks, no dry hits. I was using a single 14500 batt box mod. To me, it seemed like it used juice faster than a standard unmodded Fluxo, with the same voltage. I did like it though. As I refill carts, I'm going to keep using them.

That would be awesome! I want the blue ones. I usually buy the clear. The only other color I would buy is purple but most colors are sold out before I order. lol My last order, on Sunday, all the clear were sold out in my ohm preference. WTH?! lol I ended up buying green and plan to swap those out for clear tubes (which I've been saving from my dead cartos).
