I like the way the CE2's work for me, though I have found the the larger capacity, taller ones tend not to wick quick enough for me. I have tried the fluffing of the wick and I pull the cap around the wick up a bit and that helps. I found that the shorter one don't seem to suffer from the dry wick problem as much, but they both will give the dreaded slug O e-juice. I came up with a solution when my older style CE2's developed the inevitable crack and leak. GotVapes sells replacement tubes, they are thicker than the originals, but not the newest. I used a longer tube on the shorter carto. This got rid of the dry wick and the occasional slug of juice. P8290982.jpg

maybe one of the suppliers here can put something like this together for us :vapor:

Nice looking! Try this on one of your next Ce2's mods: Pry out the rubber seal above the ceramic cup and c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y use small scissors (better yet: a scalpel) to extend the notch in the seal that fits over the wick on each side of the seal. Make sure to not cut into the top edge! This will allow for better airflow to the wick as it eliminates the wick from being squeezed off by the seal and ... kiss the dry wick good-bye!

Here is a CAD dwg I posted in another thread that show what you were referring to with the /\

Here you go.

Cut along the Dotted Line.

When you get a cup seal cut into a /\ it is still no good if it is not alligned right. I think you wil notice that the Small Fill Holes are at Right Angles to the Coil/Wick when the cup seal slots are lined up with the cup slots.

You can use this for a visual refence when putting a cup seal back in a Metal CE2.

There is a lot of good info in that thread but it does have a lot of chat also.
