Let's have a tank discussion. (Repeat topic, I know. Humor me, if you will.)

Yes I have, but I just don't like CE2's, even in a tank. The don't always wick well and I am no good at cleaning/dry burning them, to keep them working good. I can only vape 100% VG, tho it is thinned by the supplier to be as thin as a PG/VG mix, it doesn't do well with the CE2's. With the carto's, I get a good week at least from 1 and then it's just replace and toss the old one. A lot less fussing then with the CE2's, for me at least.:)

I too mainly use 100%vg juice. So, this might propose a problem for a ce2 type tank, wicking-wise? What of this maintenance you speak of? Dry burning? Cleaning? How was the taste when it was working?

Levitas, you may want to read some of this thread about the CE2's...it may help answer your questions better than I can.

Everyone says the clean and dry burn them every tank full or so and every one I ever tried to rinse clean and dry burn never did work the same afterwards. Of course many others have had great results with thiers, so it could easily be just me(LOL), but I want vaping to be as simple as possible.

What type of tanks? Which is best, in your opinion? Any leaking? What does the flavor taste like compared to dripping? To filler type cartos?

Levitas, I have 2 map tanks and 2 Jonboy black delrin (earlier version) tanks. I have had better luck with the JonBoy tanks as far a leaking goes. The CE2's seem to go into the top cap a little further on them over the map tanks. They also have a thicker poly-carb tube and it is a little larger in diameter.

If you use a 100% vg liquid, the liquinator might be a better option for you. I have used a 70vg/30pg e-liquid with the CE2's and had some wicking issues at the 1/2 full and below.

We haven't received ours yet so I can't speak about their performance but wondered if you had considered the Notta tanks from Stormy's? At $12.99-$13.99 (depending on whether you're using a Boge or mega dual coil) they seemed like an inexpensive way to try a tank. We managed to catch their Labor Day sale (15% off) which brought the price down to just over $11. I'm anxious to give them a try since we were looking for a solution to constant topping off that wouldn't break the bank. Tried several different larger capacity cartos but for one reason or another, didn't like them as much as the Boge 2.0. Seems like a Boge in a tank might be our happy place. We'll see.

OMG, I just found this video last night, and posted it as a new thread. Cool. I'm definitely gonna try it. How do you like it?
Or you could make your own and see how you like it. I did! :)

save your hard earned cash~ don't buy a liquinator
The J tank is nice, the nhaler cartomater is nice, & their stainless caps should be out this week. I have yet to receive my jonboyUSMC tank yet, but I've heard that they are tight (no leaks). The nicest tanks by far have got to be the stainless steel torpedo tanks by JonahNM. I've got 6 of those (3 mini, 3 regular).
