What ohm is safe for both a regualr 510 and an ego type 510. I have both kinds of batteries and would like to use the same kind on both

regular resistance(2.2-2.6ohm) will work on either
2ohm or lower should not be used on the 510

CE2's are available from 2.4 to 3.0ohm

Generally;
for 3.2v devices, use 2.4-2.6ohm
for 3.7v devices, use 2.6-3.0ohm

I've used both ~2.7 and ~2.5 CE2s.

I'll derail this thread and say that dual coil cartos are hella better than CE2s, but that's just an interjected opinion that some would agree FWIW.

Those Dual Coil's use 'cotton' filler though, so they perform less and less the more you use them. Whereas CE2's can last 6 months easy (if clear juice is used).

A few of my CE2's kept on performing 'as new' for months, the only reason I replaced them after 6 months is for hygienic reasons.

But you can NOT use a dual Coil on a skinny 510 battery- you CAN on an eGo/Riva- its not recommended, but they DO work (thats what I use them on) but it does cut the battery usage in half -
