CE2 Wicks?

Where can I get CE2 wicks for rebuilding my CE2? I mean the same material wicks they come with..I already am rebuilding them sometimes and using parts from them to make custom atomizers for dripping as I have around 30' of NiChrome wire. I found after some pratice they are really easy for me to rebuild but the wicks don't last forever..they tend to fray and break so I would like to find a inexpencive replacement.

I know I can buy new CE2's cheap but this saves me a little money,I like to tinker with things anyways and there is no wait when I need a new one I can put one together in 10mins. Plus I only order from madvapes at the present time and for now they have stopped carring them.

38 views and no replies?..how about any suggestions on where I can post this thread where someone might know the answer? I would think someone around here knows where to get wicks for ecigs. I have an idea that they are either ceramic,fiberglass or silica wicks (all 3 of those things being made of some kind of glass/melted sand) I also know some people are worried about using "glass wicks" but it can't be worse than pollyfill..I bet glass wick is safer all around. In any case I probably have inhaled many worse things in my life than a bit of silica lol..I'm more worried about any kind of other treatments/additives to the wick than the "glass" itself.

Yeah I might try somewhere else like there..but I put a link to this post in my sig and I'll give this post awhile. Someone here has to know..although maybe they don't as a lot of searching has not got me a clear answer. You would think suppliers would know where to get them or what they are made of..but maybe it's not in suppliers best interest to tell us what they are made of/supply them because it could cost them sales...

Yeah I read that thread last night but I didn't read all 11 pages..it looks cool and I might try his idea (or something like it)..but I find it easy enough to just rebuild them as they were. Anyways didn't see anything about getting new wicks but could have missed it.

The guys who rebuild atomizers in the modding forum buy silica rope and untwist the strands to get silica wick material. I think it's about $1 a foot mail order. They go in together, one person buys a roll, and they mail out pieces to each other after the order comes in. I don't know a supplier who sells rope wicks.

Yeah I read something like that..surprising there is no clear easy answer and no suppliers carrying it..the wick must be inexpensive and easy to get by the manufacturer so you would think we could buy the same thing fairly cheaply. I might buy some rope like they do but I would prefer to just get a roll or some pre-cut wicks in the right size if I can.

I plan on looking around some stores next time I'm out shopping to see what I can find too..although these days most of the people who work at stores don't seem to know much anymore so it might be a pain finding out who might have some (been told stores don't carry things in the past by there workers a lot only to find out later they do)..when I was younger you just went to a hardware store and they would know what you're talking about but these days you have to ask 3 or 4 people sometimes or make a couple trips :D

Kool thanks..another bookmarked (although it seems it isn't available yet or out of stock) and if I see threads asking about wicks I will link them..I also put in a request for MadVapes to carry them as they are my regular ecig supplier so who knows maybe they will carry them in the future :)
