We've seen all kinds of revisions and numbers associated (and not; even w/ the changes the company didn't go past r4) w/ these cartos it's mind numbing.

They (Royal Smokers) have a release pending of the CE3. It supposedly will not have solder (good thing; always wondered what their solder actually is) and seems to have a bottom coil- 'vapor from the bottom'. They also mention that they've been working on this since last Nov. and it's been copied (likely Kanger's newest clear cartos w/ bottom coil) but theirs has other features.

We shall wait and see.

Thanks for the link. People have been throwing the idea of a clear window around for a while, and it's nice to see that they're coming out soon. As with my past experience with CE cartos, I'll keep my excitement level at "guarded optimism" for now.

No problem. The clear window 'Giantomizer' is out now and is being sold by a couple vendors in the US. This one is similar but seems to have the coil on the bottom and has no solder, etc.

What are the ce2 r5's - just a way of saying clear ce2 r4's? And what about something I saw about having 2 coils? Any better that the ce2 r4's.

That was my point about numbers and revisions; some vendors applied the term r5 but the company never went past r4 in their description, even though numerous changes were made.

The 2 coil carto is not CE2 related, although they only give so much info on this CE3. Better is subjective, I can't go back to filler cartos after modding these CE2's myself. Some would agree others would not.

Yeah, I was in the group that called the clearomizers r5's. I, and others, tore apart the r4s and the clears; the only difference was the amount of wicking material. I tried hard to like CE2s, but nothing seemed to work for me. No matter how much I cleaned them out, I would still get that burnt oily primer taste. Granted, if I vaped through one long enough, I would eventually burn off all that taste. I tried PTB modding them; it was an improvement, but I eventually gave up on them and I'm back to Boge cartos. If I'm not mistaken, the giantomizers are essentially large CE2s (do I have that right?). Hopefully these CE3s work better than CE2s. I'll likely get a few once they're out. I wonder if anyone on here has beta tested them (like how SenseField beta-ed the Kanger clears).

Those are still the CE2 cartomizers, and there really are mixed reviews on them. Some people seem to love them, but I never had much success, even with modding them. I'm not quite sure how the CE3s will differ. The website says "vapor from the bottom" which makes me think that the coil is at the threaded end like the new clear kanger cartos. I guess we'll find out in a few months when they're released.

From what I hear...it's not Kanger who is copying them but rather the other way around.

Now I wonder if that window is just a sticker with a hole cut in it wrapped around a cleromizer or if it's actually a metal tube with built in window. Guess we'll have to wait ams see.

I'm no expert but I would gase a bottom atomizer would wick much much better due to gravity but not sure how flooding or pooling of old burnt juice would be avoided.

The New Kanger Tank Cartos have the atomizer on the bottom...work much better then any CE2 I ever tried.

The new CE2's that COV just got in have a straight wick and not the loops. Heavier also. Bigbuyer has been using one and says the wicking is fasntastic.

I have been cutting the loops in the CE-2 since the first one I got. I drove up to COV to pick up some Syringe Mods before the CE-2 Clears came in. The first thing I did was take the outer tube off and cut them. I've also found that if you also unravel the 3 wicks on each side and essentially make one big wick it works really good. I just don't know how to stop from eventually getting the burnt taste. After the first fill is used up and I am at the point where its time to refill its already full of carbon build up and no matter what I do I can only reduce that taste by about 50%. You wouldn't happen to have any tips on how to make it better than that would you?
