I just received my 3 boxes of CE3 Cartos Friday and filled one up Saturday night no problem, I tried vaping on my two Manual 650 X2s & Manual 900 X2, no vape at all, I'm guessing a bad Carto. Today I went to fill a second, I had one syringe port in the top seal, and will this affect its performance. I checked the remaining CE3s and all the remaining Cartos had one syringe port in the top seal. update, I apologize, they all have one port unlike the CE2

BTW, Mroutlaw's videos were helpful and led me to try the CE3, now I'm thinking I should have stuck with the Clearos, any advice help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I was using the CE2s and they had one on either side of the top seal, I just checked the first carto again, you are right, it only has one port. It still won't vape on my X2s though, guess I can fill the rest tonight to ensure they will work. I should have double checked the first seal, sorry
First post corrected.

First of all, I have to say, I love the shirt of your baby.

Now, to help you. The x2's, are the manual or auto? Is the light flashing when you press the button or try and vape?

Try these two things, in this order. First, try to unscrew the ce3 just a hair and then try and vape.

If that doesn't work, try and ljust the center post on the ce3 just a hair. easier way I have found is with a small screwdriver or a toothpick, or paper clip. Just put it in and angle it to pull up just a hair.

I still don't have mine, but I had similar experiences with the ones I got from gotvapes. For some reason, there is a inconsistency with the height of the battery post on the ce3

Thanks, he's a couple years older now & I'm long suffering fan of the three "secondary" NY teams.

All three X2s are Manual, I tried the toothpick/post trick and it didn't work, I didn't think of the tightness issue so I'll reload it and try that. I did fill a second one which worked on my new 650 but not the First Gen 650 or 900, the posts on the first Gens are visibly lower and I don't want to pry too hard and ruin the internal connection. I just tried the lefty loosey on the first Gen with the second CE3, No go.

I'm still waiting to my RMA from SI Customer Service on a Battery issue I've had with a new Manual 900 X2, doesn't hold a charge, this was the third one that went bad after a week. Once that's resolved, I'll have two new and two first Gen X2s, guess I'll use the CE3s on the new ones and Clearos on my originals.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Raising the post on the x2 is simple. They move all the time when you clean them. Just out a toothpick inside the between the thread and post and angle up a touch, so long as you don't being the post higher than the top of the threads, you are fine.

Since you are using a manual, what happens when you try it? Does the light on the button light up and stay lit when you press it or does it blink?

The light will remain lit while the button is depressed and goes out when released, so it's normal in that respect, just no vapor.
I tried again using a paper clip, I got both First Gen Batteries to work, Thanks! :vapor:

10,000 thank you's Mroutlaw! I was having a similar problem with one of my CE3s. It worked fine on a manual battery from another vendor, but got nothing on any of my Volt automatics. Tried 3 separate 65mm's and my X2...pulled so hard I almost gave myself a hernia. Found this thread before begging for starting a new one in which I begged for help, poked the post gently with a safety pin and it works like a charm.

This is a common issue with all batteries, not just si
