Facebook has become a force to be reckoned with. All major organizations now have a page.
My two-year anniversary is coming up in just a few weeks. On March 27, 2111, I plan to post the following notice on the pages listed below.
American Medical Association (AMA) | FaceBook
American Lung Association | FaceBook
The American Heart Association | FaceBook
American Cancer Society | FaceBook
Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids | Facebook
World Health Organization (WHO) | Facebook
Action on Smoking and Health | Facebook
http://www.facebook.com/FDA
Linda B. Rosenthal | Facebook
Other Facebook page suggestions?
How about it? When you celebrate your 1 month, 6 month, 1 year, 2 year, 3 year, etc. anniversary, why not share it with the folks who think that there is no evidence e-cigarettes can help people stop smoking. Bookmark these Facebook pages so that you can find them again in time for your next anniversary. Set up a Calendar reminder to go to post your victory message on the magic dates.
Note: Facebook tends to display only the first four or five lines of a post, so make sure that the mention that the organization (or person) is trying to ban the electronic cigarette is made near the start of your message.
You don't need to type your message each time. Just Copy the text (highlight the text and press ctrl-c) and then Paste it (press ctrl-v). Highlight the name of the orgnization, and then type the name of the current organization to replace the text.

Today is my two-year anniversary of being abstinent from smoking. My smoke-free life and my new-found health were made possible by switching to vaporized nicotine. delivered without all the toxic ingredients in smoke. I use a device that the [insert name of organization] is trying to ban: an electronic cigarette. I smoked for 45 years and tried to stop smoking hundreds of times by giving up nicotine, but I kept relapsing. I used to lie in bed being kept awake by the sound of my wheezing. The wheezing is gone. I used to have a "productive" morning cough. That's gone, too. I can now laugh loud and long without going into a fit of coughing. Best of all, I have no cravings to smoke.
