Hey Sentinal,

I do have the new KR808 ceramic E2 cartos, the regular not the XL, and they're working pretty well overall. There are a few issues that are currently being worked out like removing the primer (like atomizers have when they're new) and some minor leaking issues. The order I have does have some glue in them, but has since been removed from the newer revisions AFAIK. For the ones that work, they are phenomenal. Massive clouds of vapor and great taste, and that's what really makes or breaks a carto. I've had them for about a week now and I haven't even touched any of my filler cartos these are working so well. I would say another month or two and the factory should have all the issues worked out with them, but if you don't mind getting a bunk one here and there, go ahead and order now. I ordered mine from china and got some extra batteries to offset some of the shipping costs. The US shops that carry them typically have them for the same price or $1 more than the standard cartos, when they actually have them in stock. Hope that helps.

I didn't try the ceramics. Know what?

Because all the revisions I tried (and supposedly they were only changing to ceramic by request, because supposedly they were working great) sucked.

They leaked, they wouldn't thread right, the vapor I got was unimpressive, they didn't taste right, the filler holes were inconsistently machined, etc etc etc.

I'm not giving these people any of my money. They're trying to use me as a genuine pig for what is an alpha product at best.

If you put in the time, I'm sure you can get some of them working well. But this sloppy workmanship, sloppy design, and I have cartos that work better.

Any U.S vendors currently carrying the ceramic cartos? I'm willing to take a chance as long as I don't have to pay shipping from China.

Skuby, are these the same as what you're using?

Cartomizers

jmall, if these are the same ones, clouds of vapor is a US vendor.

COV has these off and on. You can request to be notified by email when they are in stock. I have a friend that has them and she said that they taste great and work well but it is very messy to fill them and she ends up losing juice on the fill.

Thanks Salem ~ I'm on the notification list now.

Is your friend using a syringe for filling?

Thunderbolt, they are version 2 of the ones the vendor had an exclusive to the originals but they weren't any good so they let it go. These are great. I got some from clouds and I still have one of the originals that were bad.
Also if you don't overfill and make sure you get the fill tool all the way in you won't spill a drop. I've never spilled any unlike the Ego cartos I spill all over the place.

So are they supposed to be non disposable cartos?

They're still disposable but with routine cleaning by doing a dry burn they'll last a while in most cases. Someone has a revision 2 still going after 35 days. The coils are robust and withstand a dry burn.

As for a chemical taste, that would be the primer which is in some. A dry burn cures that too. The newer ones won't have it. A dry taste is from wicking issues or voltage as mentioned above.

These things have a clean/pure taste when wicking properly. I can't go back to filler.

Which ones do you use, Mistress? If you would kindly point me to your supplier, I'd be much obliged. :) Grazie.
