Gee, I hope this is the right forum thread for this!
I have to post a quick review not only on the pleasure of using these cartos, but also on their resilience. I have not tried the latest generation, but the E2s I have, once you get past the primer issue, are divine to me. Pure juice taste, and you know when they are empty vecause the taste is absolutely beyond horrid. While I still stash a few regular 510 cartos (and one or two LRs as well), the E2s have forever earned their place in my heart.
They are TOUGH. Last night, I accidentally fired my mod by placing it under my leg. It rolled under my hind end. I kept thinking something felt kind of hot/painful, but didn't pay much attention until it REALLY hurt. The thing had to have been firing for at least two minutes, maybe a bit longer. I even have a burn spot to prove it on my skin, and this was through my pants! I pulled out the carto and it was a mess on the outside. The stickers I had used to identify the flavor, along with the nailpolish to seal them, had melted and fallen away. The actual cover had started peeling away as the glue had melted. I thought for sure it was burnt.
After pulling away everything until i got to the metal base, I cleaned the outside with alcohol and had a quick peek at the coil. The wick was still white! I put the carto on my Ego, fired it, and got an amazing cloud of vapor, and there was no burned taste. A quick refill, and off I went again. This morning, it is still vaping like a champ, has no off taste, and it looks pretty cool, matching the stainless batt and cone of my Ego.
Win/win for me.
