RoyalSmoker E2 and V3.1 mod

I got a pack of the E2 cartos rated at 2.8 to 3.0 ohms. I am using it on my V3.1 at 6volts. It will hit nicely once then burn taste. I can drip some juice in there and it hits good again (of course). Without dripping into the carto i get a burnt taste Even after i hit it and let it sit for about 2 min it is still a burnt taste until i drip. Is this common? I seen the PTB mod for this... will this solve the problem. I love dripping and could probably use these as only a dripper but the whole reason i bought them was to have a nice carto....

Not sure you'll ever be satisfied with your E2's at 6 volts, ptb modded or not. Their sweet spot is aimed at the 3.7v or 3.1v user. The only thing to do is ptb one and see if it works for ya... if it's going to work, you likely need the highest resistance value available.
