How many people here who chain vape like I do actually feel better than when they smoked analogs? I certainly do, but I am at the point where I think vaping is still having an effect on my well-being. My lungs don't hurt anymore, and I don't cough very much anymore. But I do feel a bit "down" more than I'd like. Considering how heavily I've been vaping, I certainly think if it were analogs, I'd be dead.

I'm the same way, I'm always puffing on an e cig. I guess it's just one of those things. I've been mixing low nic juice with no nic juice to get "very low" nic juice. That way I don't get a headache or anything. I tended to chain smoke analogs at the same times (sitting on the computer, driving, watching TV) so I figure I'm still better off, and I do feel better.

Confetti, as a fellow chain vapor I must admit the battery recharging gets to be a hassle. I have 3 batteries and 1 charger and it seemed like there was always one battery charging, one waiting to be charge and one in use. Some days, with a 4 hour recharge time, there came a point where I was powerless due to the backlog. What I finally did was get a USB Pass Through along with a home and car USB power source. Now my battery usage is rather limited so I always have a fresh one available when I'm away from power sources.

Good idea! Now, I just have to get some extra cash together and place another order. :)

I don't know. Since I normally chain my real cigarettes down and can tell when I've had too many, I don't think I'm od'ing with the e-cig even though I do feel like I'm puffing on it all the time! It's the opposite for me I think-I feel like I'm not getting enough nicotine, and I have to supplement with the real thing. I've only been using this thing now though since yesterday. My hubby says I either need to return the darn thing or figure it out. Maybe we are not getting as much nicotine with the e-cig as what is in the "real" thing. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? It seems like when the unit is fully charged and I have a fresh cartridge in, I get maybe 5 "good" drags and it goes down hill from there. I feel like I have to suck on this thing 'til my head caves in to get a good, satisfying drag like I would get from the real thing. I'm just thinking maybe my "epuffer" model is a piece of crap. Either way, yeah, I am trying to puff on this thing quite frequently because I don't feel like I'm getting enough nicotine. I have a "high" level nic cartridge in right now and I normally smoke "lights" for the real thing. If I could get good, consistent drags, maybe that would help? And maybe a "shut-off" feature like "BananaDoc" suggested would help.

I was using a 401 for the past 4 weeks with 18mg juice and wasnt getting getting good hit or satisfaction. I got 36mg juice a couple days ago and that definitely helped. More hit and satisfaction but vapor sucked and draw was just a bit too hard for my taste.

I just got my dura-c today and combining that with the 36mg... holy crap! It's kungfu is strong! I plan on vaping low to no nic most of the time til i feel a strong craving then drip a couple drops of the 36mg... BANG!

Ps- keep in mind i was smoking 1.5 pks/day of marl red 100's and inhaling deeply for over 30 years. Those of you who are light smokers should be careful about the super strengths for obvious OD reasons. I do believe that spiking your nic levels and using low levels for "boredom" vaping is the way to go.

Perhaps the next iteration of ecigs will have a built-in reset feature? After 15 good puffs it switches off for 5-10 minutes? If it dies and you know it will stay dead for a length of time would you be more likely to put it down and walk away for a while?

just a thought.

If this feature were added to one of the best mainstream e-cig models (it is important that the base unit is itself high quality), then it would give that manufacturer (and the associated retailers) a meaningful competitive advantage. I would certainly buy e-cigs with that feature!

I've only had my 901's for a week now, but this morning received a USB passthrough. I've been vaping constantly and I'm thinking that the passthrough won't make it better, hah.

I haven't seen alot of posts as far as health concerns go. Anyone wanna help me with these questions?

1) What are symptoms of nicotine overdose?

2) Are there any calories in vapor?

3) Does this thing affect my lung strength? (I'm in several sports and hope that my lungs will be as good as pre-smoking after using this for awhile)

4) Anyone ever notice long term side effects of vaping? I couldn't find much information about PG and any info is appreciated.

5....last one, promise) Will inhaling vapor cause health problems? Constant water vapor to the lungs can't be too good.

With all that said, I freaking love this thing. I've got RY4, mint, and marlboro in high strength and enjoy a mix of mint and marlboro or mint and RY4. Or mint alone :hubba:.

At the very least, if it turns out this thing has some drawbacks, I'll be better off cause I'm saving money. I've thought about it, and worst case scenario is propylene glycol is terrible for me over long-term. And this thing tastes damn good.

7 days now for me basically and the 'buzz' and 'almost feeling dizzy' (strange I know but those who have had it will know what I mean) have both mainly gone..

but I am still using it too much and how do I know? I still walk around with a nicotine buzz sometimes during the evenings and feel like sitting there and watching TV and saying nothing lol

it feels good and weird and dodgey all at once to be fair, I can only compare this feeling I get as being slightly stoned, but in a not so good way, because it is just a weird feeling.

I will also say I keep having REALLY vivid dreams and waking up with a serious dry mouth.

apart from that, it is getting better by the day. loving the 510 still. :)

Strangely I have experienced just the opposite. I'm on my sixth day with my BLOOG and love it. Close to 50 years of smoking and this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm a good 2 pack a day nervous smoker. Many short puffs and shallow inhaling. One of the many great medical benefits of nicotine though is the aiding of focus, concentration, and memory. It is great for A.D.D. people like me and much safer than ritalin. When deep in thought I'm puffing away on my analogs like there is no tomorrow. Put me in a chess game and I look like a brush fire. For some reason though I don't do nearly as much puffing with my e-cigg and I've only started off with 11mg. My cartridges have been lasting me more than a day with only 3 - 5 analogs.

Count me in on the chain vaping too. It's in my hand constantly. But then again, I was a chain smoker, so this has to be better...much better. I'm using 0 nic about half the time...I get a throat hit from it as well as the 11-12 I use the rest of the time. The odd thing for me is that, as much as I've always loved the taste of cigs (40 years!), the more I vape the sweet flavors, the better they taste and the worse the tobacco flavored ones taste. I'm having to use all my willpower not to put in a bulk order for watermelon, cappuccino, etc. I did this because I thought it would be cheaper. Not happening yet. :)

I was only an occasional analog smoker (stress at work), but now I too find myself chain vaping. It's all I look forward to throughout the day. I guess on a positive note I'm still not allowed to vape at my desk otherwise I'd more than likely o.d. But man... how relaxing it is to vape away right before going to bed.

1. I am SO on the same plane with you about "goodnight vapes." :D

2. Why can't you vape at your desk? What kind of job do you have where they can tell you that you can't vape at your desk? How do they justify something like that?

I look forward to your responses.
