Yes, the suppliers and veterans are correct when they say "you may find yourself vaping more than you smoked because it's so enjoyable". Using my 510 with a Mega Batt and 12 & 18mg liquids I'm constantly vaping and enjoying it but not feeling "satisfied". Going to 36mg helps so I'm thinking of moving all my flavors to 36mg in an attempt to lessen the chain vaping but have concerns about getting too much nicotine. I'm hoping going to a higher nic level will mean less vaping through-out the day and the daily nicotine level will balance out somewhat. I'm trying to correlate my nicotine intake from vaping to my former 2 pack a day nicotine level and so my question - I believe I read that a standard analog has about 18mg's of nicotine? So, does that mean it takes 1ml of 18mg eLiquid to equal one analog cigarette?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have !

A few tips that has helped me off the 'power vaping' mode. When the 'urge' is strong - top off with a higher level of nic ejuice. "Vape Low, Top off High" That way you're not establishing a tolerance at a higher level.

The main thing where I noticed I could 'put the thing down for a while' is when I got both the Protege and my first Bartleby in the same week - the Protege was back ordered a bit.... so that's the way it worked out. And both have the 14500 900mAh 3.7 Volt battery. And while the regular and mega 510 batts are rated at 3.7 Volts, under load, they are only reaching 3.0-3.2 Volts, whereas the 14500 hits 4.19v on initial charge and then stays at the full peak 3.7v for hours. Well.... take that through the 510 atty at 2.1-2.3 ohms and you're putting out wattage that creates much more vapor and hence more nicotine gets absorbed.

I was vaping at 18mg and was able to actually feel like I was smoking again, hitting one or the other and then laying them down and walking away. I'm now vaping at 11mg VG - that helps with the vapor too and still can go without vaping sometimes for a few hours watching a show and just not getting the 'urge'. I don't think I could walk away entirely and really don't want to - I like the flavors I have now - they're enjoyable but I think it's more that - And the vapor, than it is the nicotine now.

You might get more suggestions on the regular forums on this. This is just what worked for me. The 'vape low, top off high' advice was given to me from Rob at liquidxpress, no slouch in knowing his eliquids and their effects. And that is what started getting me off pacifier mode. Then the mods really helped out that effort.

Hope that helps and PM me if it works for you. I know it might not be right away :)

Regards,
Kent
