I talked to my Doc the last time I went in and he was very excited about the whole e cig thing. Very supportive. Today I had to go back and took some of my stash with me. I vaped once and his jaw dropped!!!! I am definitely passing this on to my smoking patients, that is wonderful! I told him how I went from 2/3 a pack a day to the last 2 days nothing, but it is sold as replacement - NOT as a cessation device. I told him that even if the FDA finds 40 to the 4000 in cigs, I'm still better off, etc. and he was in total agreement with me! He even laughed that the FDA was against it! I left some cards I had from some different places I've ordered from lately for him to give out. I hope I helped, I certainly tried!:)

My Dentist was spooked and asked me not to use my 510 in the office. This was before the FDA Propaganda push. Guess it just proves that dentists are dentists because they are too stupid to become doctors. Plus he does not have Nitrous.....why am i still using the dude? Block and half from the house and he is actually a decent guy.
Need to go browse the Dental Decay thread: appointment tomorrow. Should have ordered a Prodigy for the waiting room.:sneaky:

Actually, I have a friend who qualified as a doctor, decided that she didn't really like the job and then re-trained and qualified as a dentist (which she loves). She told me that she learned more about general medicine, the effects of drugs and medicines on the body and the counter-effects of one on another, and regarding the interactions of conditions and drugs as a dentist than doctors are ever taught. Plus, the year-on-year training that they have to do to keep up with current developments has higher requirements than general doctors. Maybe it's different in the US than the UK.

TBH, I find the local pharmacist has a better grasp than most general practitioners here
