Challenge for modders - the creation of a new kind of vape

So, I know we have some pretty awesome modders out here, and I'm looking for some feedback and ideas on building an e cig from scratch, using a different way of delivering the juice.

My idea is to somehow make a combination of a manual battery, some sort of misting device like a nasal inhaler and a modified atty. The idea would be to deliver the juice in a mist, which is blown through a heating coil, with the dropets vapourising as they pass through it, and then into the mouthpiece. I'd like to be able to press the manual battery button and achieve both heating the coil and the misting of the atomiser with the same press. There would have to be some form of regulating the mist stream as well, like a simple regulating valve (gas valve from a lighter?). All that would be needed as filler would be then used similarly to a cigarette filter, to catch any juice not atomised.

Any ideas?


EDIT: I am mainly looking for ideas of what to use as components to put this together, I have a good idea of how I would assemble it.

Pretty much how this device works, rather than spray, it uses air pressure to force liquid to the atomizer through a glass tube.

That was my idea too, at least you might be able to have a two switch idea, first get the atty heated, and then have the fluid go, but once again times are going to vary depending on the battery load, unless you have it in a go/no go type of board circuitry.
I am deployed right now, so I have none of my breadboard materials, just too hard to drag into a combat zone, and the power here is not the most reliable either.
I have a few mod ideas that I am thinking of, but it is going to take some time to develop them and work out what circuits I will need.

Might also look into the way that carburetors and fuel injection work on gas vehicles. Not 100% sure if either are applicable because gas does aerosolize much easier, but you never know what inspiration it may bring.
