It's just misunderstood.Yeah no. TC and I don't get on well.
Power control (as in VW) doesn't care either. At least as far as the user goes. Just like TC, if your coil is in the acceptable range, you set your preference, and the circuitry does the math and keeps you there. If everyone would just do TC it would be a lot easier. TC doesn't care if you're MTL or DTL. TC doesn't care about sub-Ω or about watts (much). TC just aims to please.
L., I am not looking for a new terminology. It exists. I read extensively in the archives here. These terms were all coined for a reason, and were pretty much correctly used, at the start. Terms like Direct to Lung and Mouth to Lung are descriptive and easily understood, as long as they are applied to styles of inhalation. If you start to use MTL as shorthand for "low wattage", even if that is normal for MTL vaping, it becomes confusing instead of clarifying. And again I will mention vaping is an international fact. There is not going to be a smooth transition to a standard terminology. You don't fight it you learn to be flexible and find common ground.
My Em needs a stroll. Good night all.
Yep and I'm one that misunderstands it.It's just misunderstood.![]()

What you are commenting on is true but not the reality. The reality is that language evolves and naturally has growing pains as a result. You flow with evolution or you spend your energy wading upstream against it. I prefer to flow with it, makes the journey more enjoyable and relaxing.L., I am not looking for a new terminology. Quote of the Day:
“Jargon live in the swamps. They feed on attention. If they can't get that, they'll settle for fear and confusion. ... A little Jargon doesn't look like much. Some people even keep them as pets. But they form packs, and they are very dangerous.”

Then don't do that...Until you hold the button too long...
Or vape the atty dry...

Suit yourself. I will continue to be as accurate as possible, in using terms, in order to clarify, not confuse. I hope you will go with the flow when contradicted. What you are commenting on is true but not the reality. The reality is that language evolves and naturally has growing pains as a result. Upside down is a bit tricky DPL ... I use an RTA and I let the wicks saturate while right side up between drags. Drippers tend to leak into my mouth a bit so that's out.
Now, zero gravity vaping is really tricky. I find I have to spin the mod a bit between drags to get the juice to the bottom of the atty so the wicks get fed. It's a real pain, and forget about chain vaping!

And SO (back to the OP), "Change (her) mind"!![]()
But my experience, based on using it for a year, is that it doesn't work as it should all that reliably.
I am one of those people that cannot do TC. It's not that I don't know how to use it, more that my taste buds don't agree with the metals needed to use it.
SS gives me a strange metallic taste, like sucking on a coin. I have zero interest in Ti. I love NI80, and have no issues at all with K1. Neither if which work on TC.I sort of get that, at least I can believe it because I know what I thought of Ni. Hard to believe everyone doesn't love SS but believable. I have 4 mods that are TC Ni/Ti I don't use any more because I like everything about SS and have enough TC SS mods
@Katdarling congrats on finding your preferred set up, sometimes it can be quite a long and costly journey. I wouldn't dare try to talk you out of something that is working for you.
I'm trying!![]()
Tootle Puffers, Redux (The Sequel)@Katdarling , are the Tootlepuffers still alive and kickin'? Good Lord I'm lost - some identifiable bird ate the trail of crumbs I left (serves me right, I've been gone for so long).
Cheers!
