Yes, your Coral is an rda. BUT, it has a hole in the bottom of the atomizer to squonk the liquid in.
You could call it a squonking rda. You'd need no hole for a 'regular' one, I guess.
Yes, and the liquid is easy to change on that one. I just pour out what's in the bottle, and swap out the cotton.

Brother Bob, thank you for your very helpful suggestions. I never thought about swapping tanks. It could be something that you could change each day!! (Like earrings, LOL)
Is an RDA like the Coral I have on my ELeaf Pico Squeeze?
Welcome and glad you joined.
I too become bored with flavors after awhile. Some folks buy several tanks to switch flavors which may work (still limiting and expensive) for some. I like RDA's because they can be cleaned (quick water rinsed) and re wicked in minutes with no previous "last vape tastes". Portability can be managed with no leaks with a little common sense.

Brother Bob, I see the SMOK Spirals Tanks in different colors (one for each day?) and they have the 510 threads. Am I correct that they will work on my AL85 without issue?

I'm not Bob, but yes, that will work just fine. Just about any tank can be used that has 510 connector, which is essentially everything on the market.

RDA's may be a little to advanced for your now. Tanks may be the best way to change up flavors for you now. I use deep well (mini tanks) RDA's which can last me an average of 45 min. of vaping before I have to refill. Since your AL85 is primarily an adjustable power source with a universal (510 female) connection, as Eskie says, you can power any atomizer with a male 510 connection.

Brother Bob, sorry that I brought up my ELeaf Squeeze's Coral RDA in this disussion about my AL85. I only mentioned it because it was easy to replace liquids.
Right now I'm only having a concern about either changing tanks or cleaning out the atomizer on AL85. I just fingured that since the SMOK Spiral Tank was same brand, it would work. But needed confirmaiton.

Yes you can switch tanks on your setup. If I'm adding juice in a similar flavor profile, sometimes I just don't worry about the little that's left and will just fill. You can certainly remove a flavor (and even sometimes rinse off a factory coil) which may eliminate some flavor seepage, but it does need to be dried or it will affect how your coil vapes for a while. I've done this when I've had "gunk" around the bottom of my coil and wanted to get rid of it (usually with q-tips occasionally rinsing).

Getting smok coils to not leak isn't a newbie issue, necessarily. I don't know much about the Smok Spiral tank, but make sure your coil is seated correctly and check the... is it ends of the coil to make sure there are no straggly wires? I think that was a Smok thing for a while, but if there are, you can make sure their either tucked away or....

You know what, I'm no help to you. I don't know that tank or which particular coil issue it may be having. But, welcome to ECF and sheesh, I hope someone will be along to help. I do know smok coils can be Notorious, and there are fixes, I just don't know which one to offer up. :) Someone will, rest assured.

Unfortunately, I am a little late to this discussion. My suggestion for your original question is first, if you like the Baby Beast tank, get a Big Baby tank. Same vape and coils, but holds more juice. Fill and use it with your favorite flavor while doing your tasting with the smaller Baby Beast. Then pick up a few syringes with blunt tips. I find that to be the easiest way to drain either tank for changing flavors and for changing coils. Too many times I seem to need a new coil just after filling the tank which can be rather messy. Then it is easy to squirt the juice in the syringe back into the tank after changing coils or back into the original bottle if changing flavors.

As far as your spiral tanks, I am not at all familiar with those, but think they take a different coil. If they are a similar top fill, the syringe method should work equally well with those. For your leaking problem, I can only take a guess and pass along an idea or two.

First, I would suggest finding a good video on its assembly. Pay close attention to all the O-rings. Did-assemble your tank and inspect everything, especially that all the O-rings are there and properly seated. I got a new tank once that leaked horribly and when I broke it down, found that one of the O-rings was missing. Also check any O-rings on the coil for any possible gaps or defects. I did take a quick look at one video (didn't think it worthy of linking :() and they mentioned, due to having a coil that screws on at both ends, to really tighten it down when putting it together. Just what I heard and that goes against most everything I understand, so take it with what it is worth.

Good luck and hope you get things working for you! :vapor:

HI and welcome. Back when I was using pre-fab coils, I changed flavors all the time. Just empty the tank and refill with the next flavor. It does taste "interesting" until the new flavor overtakes the old, but that's part of the charm.
And sometimes you find a combo of the old and new that tastes pretty good too;)

Unfortuantely I have not found any Smok tank that does not leak some. Leaky tanks was going to turn my brother off of vaping until I got him a Cubis tank that has top airflow and it literally does not leak. Not as good on flavor as the Smok tanks but decent enough with the notch coil. There may be a few other tanks that don't leak but I don't know what they are maybe someone in the know will chime in.

How does the flavor compare to the Smok tanks. I got my brother an OBS Nano and he loves not having to buy coils but sometimes its easier for him to have a drop in coil tank

The flavor is very good. To me it's more like a MTL tank.
