Ok, I mixed a couple 120ml bottles of a flavor I like. 50/50 @ 6mg.. It's like 25% flavor.

So it's really strong, and getting stronger. Do I just mix like 15ml with a 6mg 50/50 flavorless? Or does that end up higher Nic? Should still be 6mg right?

In a 30 ml bottle right? You are correct still would be 6mg nicotine and 12.5% flavor.

Think of doing DIY as Mixing a Drink where the Nicotine is the Alcohol.

If you make a Rum and Coke that is 25% Rum and it is Too Strong, how do you Fix It? Simple, you add more Coke. Right?

Same with what you have. If your DIY is Too Strong, add some Unflavored at the Same mg and PG to VG ratio.

Just mix up your usual unflavored base and add it. The NIC content won't change. 12ml's of base for 120ml's of mix will represent a 10% dilution. 24mls will be 20% dilution etc......

BTW - I just posted this in another Thread...

Flavor Percentage is given by Total Flavor divided by Total Volume.

If you are at 20% Flavoring for 10ml, then you have 2ml of Flavoring in 10ml of e-liquid

.2 x 10 = 2

To get to 16% Flavoring, we are going to add some Unflavored. Let X = Amount of Unflavored to add. From our Flavoring Formula we have,

(2) / (10 + X) = .16

Turning the Wrench using Algebra...

=> 2 = .16(10 + X)
=> 2 = 1.6 + 1.6X
=> 2 - 1.6 = .16X
=> .4 = .16X
=>.4 / 1.6 = X
=> X = .4 / 1.6
=> X = 2.5

So it sounds like if we add 2.5ml of Unflavored to our 10ml @ 20% Flavoring we should get 12.5 @ 16% Flavoring.

Let's Check it.

2 /12.5 = .16

.16 = 16%

Looks Good.

(Disclaimer: I did this Old School with a Pencil and a Piece of Paper. I also haven't had much Coffee yet. So Someone should check my Math)
