Its all scare tactics and BS just to scare the general masses to be anti vaping.

All? That's just not an accurate statement. ;)
just a couple chemicals that some fly-by-night test lab came up with using the wrong conditions that the normal vaper would never come close to.

Again, not an accurate statement by a long shot. Some studies have been been conducted using wrong methodology and they have been promptly rebutted and debunked by scientists like Dr. Farsalinos. But there are new, correctly designed studies that show formaldehyde (and other aldehydes) showing above 420°F under normal, real-life vaping conditions. Those studies have been conducted by "our side," by vapers and scientists who know what they are doing. Two of them are even members of this forum and long-time advocates of vaping: Dr. Kurt Kistler (known to us as Kurt, our resident chemist) and Mike Petro. Dr. Farsalinos, a Greek cardiologist and a vaper himself, also a member of ECF, stated recently that he's not at all surprised by their findings and promises to do even more studies. John and Brandon from Evolv are hardly a "fly-by-night test lab came up with using the wrong conditions that the normal vaper would never come close to."
I smoked 4000 chemicals for 35 years

Most of us here did. So does it mean that people like the OP, who started this thread because he was concerned about aldehydes, do not deserve an honest answer? We're just supposed to tell them "nothing to see here?" Why? Nobody is saying that vaping is not safer than smoking--NOBODY! But if vaping has possible dangers that can easily be avoided (aldehydes, diacetyl, etc.), why can't we talk about it honestly without being attacked and labeled as fear mongers. Nobody's telling you how to vape. It's your personal choice. But there are people who want to avoid any possible risks--it's their choice. :D
